watching atsumu play was thrilling.

it wasn't often that you went to watch his
games, only ever having gone to two games
and you two weren't even as close then, so
being able to sit on the bleachers for someone
was exciting.

you couldn't help but cheer for him and the
other boys on his team and even join suzume
to wait for and meet the boys.

koizumi suzume
"kiyo!"

you looked up from your phone and turned your
head to the direction suzume was yelling.

the boys were heading out but mostly in different
directions as it was home time.

atsumu was making his way with sakusa and
three other boys you weren't familiar withㅡbut
you did somewhat recognize the ginger with the
bright smile that you've seen around the halls.

sakusa kiyoomi
"hey plum."

suzume giggled and brought her boyfriend into
a hug, resting her chin on his chest and looking
up at him with a warm expression on her face.

koizumi suzume
"you looked super cool
today!"

sakusa chuckled and nodded, brushing back
some of her hair to expose her forehead which
he leaned down to kiss.

you swore your heart burst at their interaction.

miya atsumu
"hey! how was watching us?"

you turned and smiled at atsumu.

"hey!"

"it was awesome!"

"i mean, i remember going to
watch before but it's different
when you're there to watch
somebody."

atsumu laughed, nodding along.

???
"tsumtsum! is she your
girlfriend?"

atsumu smiled and shook his head, moving
to stand beside you to introduce you to his
teammates who you were certain were also
his friends.

you smiled and waved shyly.

miya atsumu
"this is y/n, one of my close
friends."

you bowed respectfully.

"i'm a second year in kines,
planning to move to athletic
therapy in my third year."

the ginger gasped.

???
"woah! that's so cool!! so
like kai-san right?!"

miya atsumu
"yup but i don't think she'll
take over so soon since kai's
just in his 4th year."

the boy with black hair that seemed to stick out
from the sides spoke up.

???
"doesn't hurt to get prepped
for next year when he goes
to graduate."

you were given a lazy smile and an outstretched
hand.
