once sakusa got suzume's takeout order, he
got up from his seat and began saying his
goodbyes. umetsu followed along as she,
too, had a bit of an earlier curfew.

thankfully, she lived near the library which
allowed for her boys to stay longer as sakusa
was willing to walk with her.

miya atsumu
"get home safe, ume!"

bokuto koutarou
"text when you get home or
else kenma'll get shit!"

the freckled girl laughed and bowed casually
in response.

you smiled at her and gave her a wave.

"it was nice meeting you,
umetsu! see you around!"

her expression brightened at your farewell
and she nodded, waving to you with both
her hands.

umetsu yua
"likewise, y/n! hopefully we
see each other around more."

you laughed and nodded.

sakusa kiyoomi
"okay, let's get going."

sakusa kiyoomi
"we might be a little late on
my schedule."

umetsu nodded and gave one last wave to
you and the rest of the group before they
both turned and made their way out of the
ramen shop.

you turned to sit properly in your seat and
smiled to yourself.

"i like her."

atsumu, who sat to your left, leaned in towards
you a bit.

"ume?"

you turned to him and nodded.

"umetsu, yeah, she's cool."

"kinda weird for me to hear
people call her ume since
suzume is kinda ume to me
ㅡor to sakusa... but yeah!
she's awesome."

atsumu hummed along.

miya atsumu
"suzume's always just been
suzume to me so i guess i'm
not really weirded out."

miya atsumu
"i've never called her ume
since i figured that was an
omi thing but yeah, i hear
ya."

suna rintarou
"what'd be weird is if sakusa
started calling umetsu by
ume."

"yeah,  that makes sense."

"umetsu is ume to us though
and suzume is suzumeㅡit's
a little weird but kind of not
especially since i guess we'd
know the difference."

you hummed.

"yeah, makes sense since we
all have different relationships."

"if you say ume, i know you
don't mean suzume but rather
umetsu."

"and if you say ume, too,
you'd be referring to umetsu
since i guess sakusa's the only
one who calls suzume by ume?"
