sakusa went to school without his girlfriend
which lead the cream haired girl to head to
campus on her own.

sakusa also forgot he had a meeting with a
prof which lead to him being frazzled in the
morning. he forgot his lunch, his laptop, and
his dufflebag for volleyball.

the meeting was important so suzume
reassured her boyfriend she'd have no
trouble bringing everything over.

but everything was so damn fucking
heavy she couldn't even walk 10 meters
without having to take a break.

???
"need a hand?"

suzume jumped a bit and turned immediately
at the sudden voice. she was glad she wasn't
holding any of sakusa's things or they would
have dropped.

???
"o-oh! sorry!"

suzume let out a small sigh at the sight of
a familiar freckled face.

"you scared me, umetsu!"

umetsu let out a small laugh.

"i might have just died right
then and there, ya know!"

umetsu yua
"sorry, sorry!"

she laughed againㅡsuzume's playful and
dramatic tone of voice was amusing.

umetsu yua
"that's my bad."

suzume giggled a bit and shook her head.

"could you though?"

"your class isn't too far,
but..."

suzume sighed.

"i've been hauling ass since
i left my car and i ended up
in a bad parking spot."

umetsu nodded, extending her arm out to
reach for one of the totebags suzume had.

the two evened out the weight of sakusa's
belongings and made their way together
towards the bench suzume wanted to settle
at.

the two plopped the large dufflebag onto
the bench and then gently placed the other
tote with sakusa's other belongings on top
of it.

they both let out a sigh and then laughed
together, both taking a seat on either side
of sakusa's belongings.

"thanks, umetsu."

"i have no idea how kiyoomi
carries all of this around."

umetsu yua
"feels like he has a whole
dumbell in there or two."

"right?!"

suzume sighed.

"and he brings around his dumb
textbooks too!"

umetsu laughed.

umetsu yua
"well, i'm sure it all pays off
in the end."
