the original plan, had suzume not learned that
there was mixed bathing at kita onsen, was to
chitchat and gossip the entire time you two
were bathing.

of course that was not the current situation
so the both of you kept conversation light and
most of it in the showers before heading out
to meet with the boys.

"so, can i ask you something?"

you hummed as you rinsed your body, letting
the warm water run down your skin.

koizumi suzume
"i was just wondering what
you thought about atsumu."

your expression lit at her question and you
laughed a bit, taken back with her curiosity
but not appalled.

"what do you mean?"

"like as a friend?"

suzume smiled and shrugged.

"whichever."

koizumi suzume
"you guys have just been
close is all."

you laughed, shaking your head as you focused
back on yourself.

"you two are close, too, you
know."

koizumi suzume
"well yeah, i've known the
boys since high school but
i'm talking a different kind
of close, y/n."

suzume giggled.

"atsumu's such a cheeseball
around you and don't think i
don't notice how you get all
gooey around him."

you scoffed playfully, laughing shortly after
feigning irritation.

"okay, maaaaybe i get just a
bit soft around him."

suzume laughed.

"maybe, huh? just a bit, huh?"

you laughed, shaking your head.

"he's a charming guy and a
total sweetheart."

"can't exactly help it when
he's being all 'i respect
women' around me."

suzume snickered.

koizumi suzume
"oh you love sick doodoohead."

you laughed.

"oh come on, suzume."

"i'm not love sick."

"i barely have a crush on the
guy."

suzume turned to you and raise a brow. she
had a smirk toying at her lips and her eyes
were rather suggestive.

you giggled and turned away.
