sakusa let out a small sigh, cupping the
warm mug in his hands.

while his niece and nephew returned to the
living room with his friends, sakusa stayed
behind at the dining area with the married
couple.

he felt worried talking about his relationship
that was always seen as "steady" to his
siblings and he didn't like to admit that there
was a problem, but he knew that he couldn't
be prideful in a situation like this.

sakusa kiyoshi
"so, what did you wanna
talk about?"

"well..."

"i was... looking for help, i
guess."

sakusa chieko
"like advice?"

sakusa nodded slowly.

"kinda."

"yeah."

kiyoshi hummed.

sakusa kiyoshi
"well, all you told me over
text was "me and suzume
fought, can i come over to
talk?" and knowing you
were gonna go see yoko,
i dunno where to start
thinking."

kiyoshi let out a small chuckle and his
younger brother sighed.

"i was gonna ask kiyoko-nee
stuff but she wasn't available
and i thought to ask you and
chieko-nee."

"i... was gonna ask... stuff...
about girls."

sakusa's nose scrunched and he felt his
cheeks flush with heatㅡit was definitely a
bit weird to be saying or even asking of
these things, at least, in his point of view.

chieko hummed, smiling a bit.

sakusa chieko
"well, kiyoko and i are most
definitely different, but girls
are girls and i think i'd be
able to offer help."

her smile widened and she gave sakusa an
eye smile.

sakusa chieko
"what did you want to know?"

"well..."

"suzume and i fought because
we weren't communicating."

"i lied to her because i didn't
want to confront the situation
and..."

"she thought i didn't love
her anymore and that i was
looking at someone else."

sakusa kiyoshi
"she was jealous?"

sakusa hesitated to nod.

chieko let out a small huff and nudged her
husband.

sakusa chieko
"it doesn't have to boil down
to something as simple as
that, yoshi."

kiyoshi scrunched his nose and nodded along.

sakusa kiyoshi
"yeah, i guess."

sakusa kiyoshi
"so then?"

the attention was then put back on sakusa
who was clearly having a bit of a harder time
admitting to these feelings and talking about
it.
