Taron was very confused. On one hand he didn't wanted to see him again but on the other hand he missed him like crazy and he became adiccted to him. You couldn't just wanting Enzo without ended up loving him with all your heart. That bitter good bye day Enzo called coldly his driver to take him back to Philadelphia and with apparent indifference he signed him an ammount on a cheque equal to a return plane ticket, „return to me".

- Take it.

- I can't accept more gifts from you.

- I've said you take it.

He had never before met a person so generous as him. So Taron took the cheque almost ashamed and he left with his head down.

This time returned before he expected to New York. Enzo welcomed him at the door looking quite happy his trolley which he grabbed with his right hand, pointing out that he aimed to stay.

Living together proved to be very hard because they were very different. The next and last journey in their relationship just served to Taron strenghtened his friendship with Duncan, who always was an enormous consolation between fightings with Enzo. That was something that he couldn't say from the rest of Enzo's new yorker Friends, who he couldn't stand. It wasn't strange that their couple going outs ended up with each one in different directions fucking anybody else if they felt like it. All of which served to reiterated that Taron and Enzo wasn't meant to be couple. As they performed so well in bed all their differences worked out there. It was a matter of time that Taron yielded to Enzo's excess life and that made him hate himself deeply whenever he looked at him at the mirror to shaving. He ended up not recognizing him.

- I'm not your toy -he blurted out while he threw clothes in his suitcase with anger.

Enzo dismissed already his hysterical self-affirmation attacks as a joke. He watched him raising his brows while he took a sip of his first cup of tea.

- Don't be ridiculous, love -he just answered-

- Don't be ridiculous, love -he just answered-. What are you doing now?

- I'm getting out. And this time it will the last one.

- Really?

- I can't take anything around you. Your New York friends are a bunch of snobs who treat me as though I was a peasant from the bible belt.

- Oh, God. You are the least of their problems, believe me.

- I have more culture in just one of my fingers that they have in their sculptural bodies.

- Your problem is you have no sense of humour, dear. You shouldn't take it to heart.

- I've heard them talking about me, right? Whispering about like gossips. Drawing conclusions about me without knowing me. I can't stand them and you only have eyes for them.

- We're having fun. They don't stay with me because fame and money.

- Oh, yeah? And I do.

- I'm not telling you so. You don't either.

- And then Pauline with her air of superiority walking with you by the hand to each and every event when I should be there.

- We have that tradition. I do it for you, to take you away from the paparazzi.

- That's not true. You ashamed of your sexuality and me.

- Alright. Think what you like. I'm not going to beg you.

- There's no fucking need.

- Here, a cheque. Invest it as you like.

- Does it end everything like this? With a cheque?

- I don't think a 5000 dollar cheque is a bad end.

A year of passionate love ended like that between them. Enzo was more moved than he expected after that breakup. Taron meant a lot of beautiful things for him and despite they hurt each other, he thought he was such a good man and he didn't want to lose his friendship. He sent him several postcards trying to sign a peace treaty and wishing him the best for the future. There was no answer from Taron.

Hurt by his indifference, Enzo found endless replacements. One per night practically. Thanks to his exile tax condition he often visited United Kingdom which he could divide within the year with 183 calendar days available. He missed his beautiful Iverna Gardens flat with all his precious furniture and pieces of art which Pauline took care of. Of course he also used his time too to visit his parents and sister and getting back the lost time with his numerous english friends.
