Enzo sat by the splendid pond. It was so beautiful he wanted to cry. All around it was covered with double water lilies and water pennyworts. Yellow colour, Enzo's favourite, flooded all. As far as the water plants Tarek had chosen there were plenty of them but placed them with exquisite balance. The mixed colours were yellow and violet and made all the design very interesting. There were water poppies and water hyacynts in both colours. The combination was so awesome, nice and delicate.

It was very difficult pleasing such a perfectionist and design fan like Enzo. But Tarek perfectly at ease, managed always to take his breath away.

- Well, what do you think? -Carl asked him coming up to him from behind, with his hands on his pockets.

- It seems a love declaration to me -he said almost to himself.

- Yes, it's truly beautiful. Shall we leave, boss? We're meeting at 4.

Enzo would rather meet previously with his still husband in private. He knew it was impossible he would change his mind but there were several details that were advisable his lawyer would tell him. Enzo was worried about the misreading of that confidentiality document that they wanted him to sign. Tarek would take it badly without a previous explanation. But as he denied to meeting without their lawyers, Enzo couldn't do anything else.

The meeting took place in Sandra's office, Tarek's lawyer. Dave and Enzo arrived dead on time. While their lawyers shook their hands and talked cheerfully, Tarek and Enzo couldn't help locked each other's eyes. It was such a delicate and awkward situation.

They watched in each other's face the wreaked havoc. Enzo looked amazing with a smokey blue shirt and the blue baby tie with grey stripes he had bought to Tarek in Australia. His clothes matched his still husband's eyes, Enzo didn't use to do anything randomly and less with clothes. He still wore his well-cared three days beard and his black hair very short. Tarek wore his natural-born bags under his eyes more purple than usual and stood staring at his beloved tie and its knot. It was very well made. Duncan and Taron would have helped him.

A divorce is a defeat from any point of view and here there were no winners. But Enzo was aware of Tarek's new situation. He knew the sacrifices he had made for him, he had no job now; he hadn't the job he had before he met him and he hadn't the one as gardener. Therefore, he didn't have any sources of income. His lawyer asked a money compensation understanding Tarek's job as gardener, though paid, had helped to the marriage estate. That compensation was demanded because he had given up a good job to take care of his husband. Enzo agreed. It was perfectly reasonable and left to Dave the money affairs. There would be a negotiation between lawyers.

Enzo and Tarek kept scrupulously quiet all the time, they looked at each other once in a while. Enzo had told Dave to make valid a document in which Tarek would agree to Enzo pay as long as he lived his HIV treatment. With his signing he agreed he would send him monthly a cheque with a sum for medication and all the disease's costs. As well as the expensive doctor Deacon's consultations that he wouldn't allow himself in any other case.
