With the commitment to having a check-up within three months, Enzo returned to a swirl of meetings with his agent, with producers, directors, script writers. Sean Penn project was at standstill and it didn't seem to come to life again in a near future. The funding troubles in a movie sometimes turned a project full of illusion into an impossible dream. Enzo had got a copy of the script and had fallen again in love with the story and his possible role. A very bad gánster at the time of the Prohibition. He had recorded himself in front of the mirror saying his sentences and he had sent them to the very Mr. Penn. The latter had assured him again that in case the project would come to life again the role would be his, he didn't need screening test.

The movie cast in Nicolas Cage film was really finished and they were in pre production. They were with the script readings and Enzo was out. They arrived too late. Cage's manager and Pauline got on really well and they had tried the best they could keeping Enzo in the project but eventually it couldn't be. There was a lot of chemistry between the two actors, they were such good friends, and they couldn't wait to work together but it was impossible to fit the available dates.

Milos Forman, who Enzo adored, because One flew over the cuckoo's nest and Amadeus, which was one of his favourite movies, had just got into hospital unexpectedly. Other paused project.

Enzo wanted so badly to be in all of them and suddenly he had nothing. So it was the way the show business worked. But he had a team working for him and he paid them a lot of money and above all Pauline, who was a little more than just a manager. She had been years working in the business. She knew perfectly the changeable rhythms of this world. The surprisingly amount of ingredients that shaped a movie and how it could be a reality or not.

Knowing all those things, she had been working against the clock to get Enzo's rabbit teeth into something that he inspired him. The disappointment because he couldn't take part in none of these projects got him really moody and knowing that, it was very useful having been his girlfriend for years, Pauline worked before things could get wrong. She was such a smart and far-sighted girl. That's why Enzo trusted her so much.

But he was really disappointed like a child with no presents at Christmas time, so she struggled real hard. She must sell him those projects she had achieved for him but he had no idea about them. Make him to love them. It wasn't an easy task.

- Take a look -Pauline said cautious putting the four scripts over the living room table.

Enzo left his cup of tea over the plate and looked them one by one, then he looked at Pauline who was sipping her tea faking calmness. Enzo made gestures, moody.

- Don't talk before you can read them -she warned him serious.

It was very funny. Sometimes Pauline treated him as though he was her rebel teenager child. And a lot of times he was.

- Oh, God -he rolled his eyes-. What is all that about? They are those roles in cocky productions that nobody wants to take part in, right? If none of those words inspire me, it's useless.

- They might inspire you.

- Tell me at least which directors are involved in each one of them -he grabbed again the delicate cup of tea and gave litte sips looking at her challenging over the cup.
