ENZO EFSERYAN(FREDDIE MERCURY) IS A PROMISING MOVIE ACTOR WHO IS AT A CROSSROADS IN LIFE WITH HIS GIRLFRIEND PAULINE AMOS (MARY AUSTIN). APPARENTLY THE END OF IT ALL, IT WILL BE JUST THE BEGINNING OF A NEW LIFE FOR THE ACTOR.
MY PARTICULAR HOMAGE TO...
Enzo sometimes, as Pauline said, could be a very spoiled child. When he couldn't get his own way and most of all when he wasn't able to control things.
He also was aware of he couldn't have all he wished just when he felt like it. He flew in anger because he couldn't stand feeling so vulnerable, so insecure about his profesional future.
For a few days Enzo was angry with everybody, with Pauline, with Tarek and even with Nala. Well, with Nala not quite.
Tarek came up behind Enzo while he played the piano self absorbed in his own finger rhythm. Like a child playing with his new keyboard or like a child secluded in his own world, knowing nobody else in that strange adult area could understand him. He played the piano like he was playing a game with the keys. And then, when his fingers were all warmed up he had such a passionate and wild style. He played just like the way he was.
Tarek recognized instantly the melody and started to hum it over his shoulder. Enzo had stronger back and arms, he checked his beautiful frame with that white vest.

To spend an evening with me...
Enzo turned his head slightly following unmoved the song and Tarek went on humming.

And if we go someplace to dance, I know that there's a chance
You won't be leaving with me.
Enzo without looking at him did his part with his wonderful and sweet voice.
And afterwards we drop into a quiet little place
And have a drink or two
And then I go and spoil it all by saying something stupid like
I love you.
Tarek sat on the floor by the stool watching in love his beautiful fingers mastering all the nice Steinway piano's keyboard.
