He returned Munich. It looked like it's been ages since he left that German town. A snowy landscape welcomed him and Leoni jumped to his waist in the airport. He had invited her to his birthday party in Los Angeles but she couldn't attend. Enzo intended that meeting would serve to Pauline and she to smooth things over and become friends. Enzo hated conflicts. The friendship was the best thing in the world.
- I missed you, dear -he told her honestly-. In the future I hope you won't miss any of my birthday parties.
- Let's go home. I've cooked you the Suabian spätzle you like.
- Oh, my love. Don't spoil me like that or I'm becoming insufferable. Look, I introduce you Taron. He's now my chef and my second assistant. Taron, this is Leoni. The most beautiful woman in Germany. You can talk about spätzle on the way back home.
A frenzy rush came up to his crotch when he stepped into that lift. He didn't think twice when Leoni invited him to her flat despite he was exhausted by the flight. He wanted to bump into Lars again. He wanted to meet him so badly.
In those months apart from each other it happened something singular in his life. He hadn't had any man in his bed since Lars. Foreplays, dinners, flirtations and the rejection to have sex with anyone. When he thought about it straight, he didn't understand himself. Why should he be so foolishly loyal to him?
Leoni was his bond with him although Enzo took her for a ride telling her they ended up pretty badly and they decided not meeting again.
He was invited to a Eisbrecher concert in the House of the world cultures. Through Leoni who was friend of a lot of people in music scene, used to have those kinds of invitations. He would rather go to ballet or opera and he wasn't a great fan of rock shows but he usually was not unpolite with the invitations.
He attended with Leoni, Taron and Duncan and several "satellites" of his entourage. Eisbrecher was a six members group. A new band although several people came from other groups. Their idiosyncrasy was somewhat particular. According Leoni who was a great fan of their music, their lyrics's intentions was deepen in the most intimate corners of the human heart, where the passions and feelings were frozen. Where nobody dared to search, a place where, in short, was very cold.
The leading singer was quite outrageous. He wore very sober, all in black. He had his head totally shaved and he started to sing the most part of the first song Mein Blut, on his knees. Their sound at first was almost religious with disco rhythms and then it turned into something harder, metallic. He spoke about a woman attracted to a man but she was so inmersed in religion that she forgot to lead her life. He wished to be his saviour and spill his blood for her.
Anyway, the concert had barely started off and Enzo wanted to get out. Taron shook his head enthusiastically with that music, as well as Leoni. Duncan had already picked up some guy.
Then he saw him. There was no mistake. Lars stood out among the crowd in black like a ray of sun through some stormy clouds. He listened to the music closely, dancing. He watched him quite a while since his privileged position which allowed him to see and getting unnoticed. He wore a white tshirt which tighted deliciously to his powerful chest in which you could read in capital letters LOVE. He looked great in those jeans. Was it possible that he would be losing the control of himself? He wanted to go up to him but he decided keep watching the concert which didn't interest at all.
When it finished he saw how Lars went up to Leoni and they greeted warmly, as usual. Then he gave a faint smile to Enzo, not very wide but glowing.
Enzo didn't want to look unpolite or too affected by his presence. But he didn't want to be near him. He had all his body tensed. Lars noticed that and smiled again.
