Their first dates were three way meetings, always with the director. Even in some of those meetings the writer was there. Chris and Enzo started from the very start to behave naturally and that naturalness was a hallmark in them, which excluded all the other feelings. Kate wanted to spend time with them, she rejoiced with the discovery of two distinct personalities, so free from smoke and mirrors. On the contrary, the rapport with the writer started off on the wrong foot. She came complaining, they didn't call her to take part in the auditions and she deemed that unrespectful. To crown it all she didn't like Enzo. Her Niall was far away from that high cheeked face, with those big dark eyes. And besides that huge incisors... Anyway, the fight between the writer and the director, the fight between film and literature was beginning to unravel and they hurried out to other room. Enzo and Chris looked at each other with curiosity and uncertain gestures. Maybe it was their very first time both of them completely alone.

Chris Gallagher came to his life in a moment in which Enzo was trying to tame himself. In spite of some odd romantic flings with boys, he kept considering Pauline his partner in the biblical sense and he was seriously thinking of stop messing about and settled down with her.

Chris was his same age but the way he dressed and speaking resembled him like a lord. He was tall, lean, elegant. The typical prestigious and elitist british college student. Shy, quiet, sensible. He was an intense and focused theather actor. Although he was so young as Enzo, he looked like he had more experience in life just hear him talking and Enzo got excited about that.

When they said good-bye, Chris invited him his own play in New London. At that time he became infatuated with him like a little girl. But he was terrified to being alone again with him. He wanted it very badly and at the same time he couldn't stand thinking about it.

He attended Chris's play with Pauline. Everything was easier with her. When he saw Chris on the stage his heart began to pound. He trusted she didn't find out.

Chris performed a husband, desolate with his wife's death in a car crash. There were several time jumps with countless scenes in case of a different destiny, together.

It was a modern, fast, funny, dramatic play. But Enzo could see just one thing. That beautiful specimen of british male. He was sure that he had an extraordinary talent similar to Marlon Brando's but he could just stare at his ass and his beautiful look. He was so gorgeus...

Pauline liked the theather more than he did and she knew what to be expected from earlier when they went together to theather

Pauline liked the theather more than he did and she knew what to be expected from earlier when they went together to theather. Enzo was too impatient and got bored soon. After a quarter an hour he used to jump off his seat. But this time he didn't. He was too mesmerized with that actor. Enzo was aware of his worshipped actor movements and Pauline was aware of the unusual reaction of his ex boyfriend. It was unlikely that any of them knew about the play's plot.
