Enzo had sheduled shooting in Prague and he didn't plan returning London till it was finished off. All that time his contact with Sean was made by Skype. Enzo literally melted when he saw Sean's kitten rubbing against the screen's laptop. He couldn't wait to get back and play with him.
He showed, as he used to, an incredible trust in Sean letting him to stay at his home without thinking. Nevertheless, Pauline, who was, among a thousand different things, his guardian angel, every day went at Enzo's command to supervising everything. Nothing escaped his fierce control. She didn't know anything about this new man and she knew he was the first living in his friend's flat. Of course she always respected his lovers and the way his former boyfriend chose to lead his love life but that doesn't stop her from giving him a good advise, whether he asked her or not.
She flew Prague to stay a few days with him and update him about his business as usual. Enzo was inmersed in the shooting with a leading part and he used to isolate from everything wordly till he heard on the set: "Cut and we're coming back tomorrow". Then Enzo was dedicated exploring Czech night and its opportunities which they were very few.
- The journalist... -Pauline started leaning back on his couch in the trailer.
- His name is Sean -he stared at her just as he knew how to make it.
- Well, Sean, the novice artist journalist...
- Pauline, he's not a novice artist. Have you seen his pictures? Look...
He grabbed his phone and started to show her a real gallery loaded in his device.
- I don't like them.
- Well, you say that to just being contrary, love.
- Do you think it is wise he stays at Iverna Gardens?
- It is not only wise. I need it.
- I can see you have fallen in love again -Pauline commented with secret satisfied smile.
- Yes, isn't it wonderful? -he said taking her hand in his and checking, thrilled that she wore still his engaged ring as he wanted-. I'm looking forward seeing his kitten.
- You are more excited about the cat instead of excited about him, don't you think?
- Don't be mean. You must drop by and try to be kind with him if you meet. He's very sensitive, as any artist would be.
- You can be sure that I'll drop by. I don't trust him at all. You have many precious things and that guy is walking around with your keys.
- You think he might steal me.
- Why not? You know how the men treat you. I don't want you suffering again.
Funnily enough Pauline overlooked Enzo's dangerous attitude with his lovers, to which Enzo had never denied it. But she only cared about the changeable nature of his boyfriend's catalog. She knew everything Enzo gave and what he expected in return, so far he hadn't got it.
- To be frank with you, I don't think Sean lay his hands on my Goya and Durero collection. He's better than all of them put together...
- Are you comparing that good looking blondie with the master Durero?
- Durero was good looking and blondie too -Enzo was sarcastic with mischiveous smile wrinkling his nose in his typical gesture and sticking out his tongue-. You should see the picture that he made of me.
