Tarek had returned from Los Angeles with more doubts than before going there. He accepted to attend because he really felt part of that Oscar. He had been during all the process while Enzo was getting ready his Soliman character. He had chosen the more completed biographies so Enzo spent hours learning about the sultan. He put up with his bad temper when he was lost in that preparation. He waited quietly he would calm down again to search again his advice, his wise words, his support, his whole body if he wanted to. Tarek rose to the occasion through all the Soliman project. Of course a little piece of Oscar belonged to him.

Attending there was just natural and Adam didn't argue about his decision. Their relationship was not ordinary. They went out but they didn't live together, obviously owed to the cats. They didn't meet every day. If Tarek had split shift the only thing he wanted to do was arriving home, cooking some dinner and crawling into bed. His number one need wasn't visiting his boyfriend.

So, they could spend a whole week not meeting. Only some whatsapp once in a while.

It wasn't an ideal relationship but it was something. He knew he had someone to talk his problems and he wouldn't disturb him in any way. It was enough.

Adam proved to be no jealous because he didn't even talk about the hundred of fake news in the web. Enzo's fans were celebrating the reunion with Tarek and even talked about dates for their second wedding.

Once his one month contract was over, Adam was politely not renewed. There was no dismissal. All was undertook coldly. The company did without his services. He was dissociate from Marygold Alley and the garden.

Was it possible Enzo would undertake what he had said? He though he wouldn't do it. Enzo was a great boss. All his employees praised him. He paid well, on time, he was demanding but was understanding about their needs, if they needed some free day they just asked it. Tarek was witness of all that. Even Doreen, the cleaning lady, with whom Enzo had a love and hate relationship because she had destroyed a lot of his precious things, was benefiting from his thousand details. Adam was an absolutely peaceful person, he didn't open his mouth to not disturb. He just did his work and no matter the things Enzo used to say, he knew he did it well. He taught him.

He didn't deserve that unfair treatment and Tarek asked him explanations just now. Despite Adam begged him to let it be, he didn't pay attention and ignoring his huge jet lag that was demanding him to sleep a whole day, he presented at Marygold Alley.

Enzo managed well with the jet lag, he was used to just a few hours of sleep. He was quietly lying on the sofa with a lot of sheets of papers. He nibbled a pencil, self-absorbed. Nala and Oscar slept near him.

- Why the hell didn't you renewed Adam's contract?

Tarek had better manners but he wasn't in the mood to conventions.

Enzo looked up to him from the papers with calmed and catlike slowness. Tarek always said he looked like his cats more and more. On seeing him panting, as though he came here to Kensington running from Epping, poured him a glass of water. He handed it to him with a smile.

- What are you doing here? You should be working to build up the country -he said ironic sitting again and rearranging his papers.

- Explain to me -he demanded leaving the glass of water over the table.

- Oh, there's nothing to explain, darling. You know his contract ended.

- You have the nerve of stating it was for his sake because he was allergic to cats.

- Isn't he allergic?

- You are a bastard. He was a good gardener, I taught him everything you like. Isn't it the deal?
