Enzo walked out of that bedroom on cloud nine. He needed to talk to Pauline as soon as possible. He called her but she didn't pick up the phone so told Carl to drive him the two blocks away his home. She wasn't at home but as he had the keys got into to wait for her and play with Trikson and Bruce, the two cats they had shared when they were a couple.

- Darling, why don't you pick up the phone? -he stormed to the front door hearing her.

- Sorry. I was in the paediatrician with Charlotte.

- What's wrong with her?

- No, a vaccine. And you? What's wrong? Don't frighten me.

- I'm gonna get married.

For a moment Pauline didn't know how to act. Fifteen days ago he had come all messed up, suffering with love and now this.

- Now it's your turn to say Congratulations.

- Oh, Enzo. Yes, sure. But... you, a married man.

- Not only I won his heart again but I asked him to marry me. Did I do well?

- Well... yes, if you're aware of the implications.

- What do you mean?

- You're going to walk out the closet in public.

- Oh, darling. That always was all about. Why do you think I wait too long to decide? I would have married him such a long time ago.

- How do you deal with? You know it's something more than putting in that beautiful ring and asked him to be your husband.

- Pauline, don't treat me like a child.

- I'm sorry, sometimes you are, Enzo.

- You know I don't give a damn what the whole world thinks about. It's not a secret in show business. I really care about my parents. I'm gonna tell them because we want to start as soon as possible the wedding plans.

- Do you want me to go with you?

- Oh, my love. There's no need. Thanks -he kissed her hand fondly.

- I don't care, I mean it. You know we're getting along well. I'm sure they would be more understanding with me.

- It's something I must face on my own.

- It will worth it. You're going to unfold your wings at last. Like when you confessed me, remember? And I saw you blooming since that moment. You were more beautiful when you started to feel free. And when you tell your parents, you'll be even freeier.

- Do you think I'm gonna be happy with Tarek?

- I think you've been all these years. Why can't you now?

- It's funny, when I called you to say it was over with Tarek, you didn't scold me, didn't call me whimsical narcissistic.

- As once I've called you, yes.

- That's why. You just told me I wouldn't think about it, don't put the blame on me. You trusted in authenticity of my whimsical acts.

- I've always done, darling.

- Sometimes you give me a thrill.

- Don't be silly. You decided that you didn't want him at home and I thought you had your own reasons. Who am I to judge another couple?

- We fought but as we always did. I don't know what happened in my head the next day. I'm still trying to analize it.

- Oh, God. Really? All is back to normal. No, better. Much better. You're going to get married. Stop analizing, brainy.
