Pauline knew of Leoni's existence through the press. Several photos of Enzo with that beauty and angel face German were published on the British tabloids holding hands and getting cozy. Leoni was a complete unknown outside Central Europe. Looking at those pictures she had such a big fit of jealousy that she didn't think twice and took a flight to Munich despite being heavily pregnant. All the way to Germany she couldn't stop from thinking, how could Enzo have a relationship with a woman? She could accept that he would be with men but she couldn't never stand seeing him with another woman.
- My love, what are you doing here? I wasn't expecting you.
He didn't lift her on his arms playfully as when they met again after such a long time. She was now gloriously pregnant almost 9 months and the greeting was a kiss on her rounded belly.
- I wanted talking to you about several things.
- Come, sit down. Duncan, bring us something fresh, please. An ice tea, darling?
- No, thanks. A glass of water if you please, Duncan.
- Tell me.
- Is it true what the journalists asked me going out my house today?
- What did they ask you?
- If you are marrying Leoni Guggisberg.
- Oh, my God -his hand flew to his open mouth, theatrically-. What the hell...?
- Exactly. Who the hell is that?
- She's a friend.
- Oh, really? Of what kind this time? Is she one of those who doesn't care about your fame and fortune?
- No, she's quite famous on her own. She doesn't need my fame or money.
- I disagree about both. Thanks, Duncan -she paused before drinking a long sip. Then she went on under Enzo's always watchful eyes-. This morning I didn't know her but the web is such a huge fund of information.
- Oh, come on, Pauline. Really?
- I know it's been years since she didn't sell as she used to, ok? Your fame does her a lot of good. And about your money, tell me that you didn't so far give her any gift.
- You know that humanly I couldn't. Of course I've given her gifts. What's wrong with that?
- I understand all, you've fell in love with her. Enzo, I thought you were gay. That's what broke up our relationship and now...
- Of course I'm gay, you know I'm gay as a daffodil, honey.
- Oh, are you? Have you slept with her?
- Of course not.
- Don't lie to me, Enzo. I know you.
- Why it is so hard to believe me? I'm utterly and completely faithfull to you, my love. I'd never could fuck another woman. It would be as though I'd blacken all we shared and I will never have with anyone.
- There's something I don't buy it. Seeing you together. I got a feeling. You treat her as equals, like you did with me when we were a couple.
- Don't be ridiculous, darling. Noone compares to you. Not even the man of my life who I'll end up find will compare to you.
- The papers tell you're marrying her.
- Why should I marrying her?
- Maybe to be a father. I have to choose assisted fertilization and you are breeding with the german.
- Pauline, really, you are saying a lot of nonsense all together. There's no wedding, no breeding, just a friendship.
- They write you're living together.
