The new year gets crazier by the day!
On the afternoon of January 5th, idol sensation and princess of SM Entertainment, Mayse of NCT was spotted roaming the streets of Gangnam with boyfriend, Hyunjin of Stray Kids and a child!
Many are confused by the sight of the child, although many suspected the unknown child to be her nephew, it was later revealed through her older brother's Instagram that her nephew was in fact in LA with him and his family.
Upon this statement release, fans have begun to assume the child is hers. Fans believe her long hiatus in 2018 would be the time she was pregnant and was unable to promote with the group.
Luckily, the singer was quick to shut rumours down after posting onto her Instagram story about the situation that was exploding online.
Mayse states: "I was - and never was pregnant throughout any of my hiatuses that I have taken since debuting in NCT. All my hiatuses from group activities were due to either personal reasons, health reasons or schedules apart from NCT. The child that was with me and Hyunjin in those photos isn't mine nor Hyunjin's child. He is a child who ran up to us during our date, asking for help. He ran away from home and informed us about how bad his domestic life was. Due to this, I decided to take him in for the time being whilst simultaneously looking for a new safer home for him to live in. Please stop spreading false information and ask me these types of things first before publicly saying such things. I hope everyone had a safe and wonderful holiday and new years <3 Stream RESONANCE :)"
