the members gathered under the shining moonlight of the night as the rapper of the team were gone performing for their comeback showcase. yuta faced both mayse and shotaro, implying for the three of them to make a team easily as they found a cabin to cook in. gathering ingredients, the two japanese males spoke in their native language for comfort as mayse spoke in japanese as well, eyeing the gather ingredients as she thought what they could make. "we don't have any seasoning," mayse frowned, glancing around before yuta reassured the two 00 liners that he would get some. thanking him, he leaves the cabin to mayse and shotaro who was happy to be bonding with yuta, a fellow japanese member. shotaro had gone to see what yuta was doing to see that haechan, jaehyun and taeil had taken all the seasonings.
"they took all the seasoning," shotaro chuckles as they returned to their room where mayse was waiting for them. raising an eyebrow, yuta informs the female that haechan, jaehyun and taeil took a majority of the ingredients and weren't sharing.
"so haechan was being greedy?" she summarises as the two japanese natives nodded in agreement. starting the cooking process, the female helped shotaro with the pork as yuta did the seasoning of the food.
"are you good at eating spicy food?" yuta questions shotaro, knowing mayse had liked spicy food. the younger male informs that he can eat it as long it wasn't crazy spicy.
remaining silent for their bonding time, mayse goes off to cook something else, leaving the room to grab some ingredients from the table, grabbing some eggs and vegetables before returning with a plate as she sets it down on the counter. "what are you doing?" she asked the boys, noticing yuta and shotaro with an onion. letting out broken chuckles she smiles at the two, walking over to see what they intended to do. "do you want me to cut them?"
wordless, yuta hands the onion to the girl who smiles and walks back to the counter, starting to cut her ingredients. "what are you making?" shotaro asked the female who hummed, handing over the cut onions to yuta as she cut the vegetables she gathered, this consisted of spring onions, mushrooms and other vegetables.
"tamgoya," mayse smiled as she finished her dish, plating various rolled omelettes with different fillings. the members of nct gathered around the table as each team began introducing their creations, yuta proudly displaying his team's cooking and efforts. enjoying the night, the large group made memories with each other as they continued with their showcase.
