mayse was on facetime with boram one late night and they were talking about relationships and such. boram then said the phrase: "i just follow where my heart goes" which inspired this song. the two girls stayed up the entire night working on this song together. mayse was given credit for producing and helping write the lyrics.

mayse created the instrumental to the song months before giving it to jyp entertainment for usage. when the company were planning itzy's comeback, mayse's manager; sihyun pitched the instrumental to the company who bought it immediately after hearing it. she was credited for producing the instrumental.

mayse was in talks with the producer of the song who was finding difficulties in comping up with a melody for the song, thus she offered her services and created the main melody of the song. she wasn't credited for her part, not that she cared.

one night, mayse was in one of her main character mindsets and produced the main melody and instrumental within a few hours. she later scraped the instrumental in her files of unused instrumentals and did not bring it out until later that year. when she revisited the instrumental and melody, mayse realised it didn't exactly suit her voice, so she pitched it around to companies to use - and luckily, hybe picked it up and gave the song to txt.

mayse was contacted by hybe once again, however this time to produce a song for enhypen - whom she adored. she created this song within a few days and worked with other songwriters to create the lyrics of the song. she also sang the demo version of the song and still has it on her phone. she was credited.

mayse had the instrumental of the song in her storage files, later pitching the instrumental to companies to see whoever would purchase it - in this case, hybe bought the song and used it for enhypen's latest comeback. she was credited for her participation.

mayse wrote this song around valentine's day last year whilst thinking about her loved ones. she wrote the lyrics and created the melody and instrumental within a few hours that very day, as well as recording her own version. she later gave the song to enhypen because she thought their voices suited the song better than her own. she was given credit for her work.

for their first mini album, sm entertainment staff asked mayse to write lyrics to a song a producer was working on for aespa, and because she adores her juniors and helping out - she agreed. over four to six weeks, mayse wrote the lyrics to the song and sang the demo guide for the aespa members to follow. she was given credit for her work.

after the final of girls planet 999, the group's company reached out to mayse and asked her to produce the instrumental for kep1er's debut song. agreeing, she made the instrumental within a few minutes and gave it to the company to work on afterwards - she was credited for her work.

eunchae and mayse have worked together on numerous occasions, and for her latest comeback which had a distinct theme - mayse helped eunchae in creating the melody and writing the lyrics to this b-side track for eunchae's newest album. she was given credit for her work.

mayse and minhee were in mayse's studio at jw entertainment one day and were talking about life in general when minhee commented on her thoughts about someone falling out of love - which inspired this song. minhee wrote the lyrics whilst mayse created the instrumental and melody - she was credited for her work.

vivian created the song however asked eunchae and mayse for their advice on the song. mayse tweaked the melody of the pre-chorus and chorus and provided lyric ideas to vivian. she wasn't credited and didn't care for the credit.
