After a busy year with NCT and PANDORA, NCT Mayse has been confirmed to return to the acting world!
On the evening of December 28th, SM Entertainment released an official statement, confirming Mayse's involvement with MBC's new drama, "Cursed Locket".
The new fantasy drama follows college students, Song Ah Young ❪ played by Kim Sae Ron ❫ and Ji Tae Won ❪ played by Nam Joo Hyuk ❫ who unknowingly purchases a cursed locket that allows them to see the dead.
SM Entertainment's official statement reads: "Hello, this is SM Entertainment, Recently our artist Mayse of NCT has been given an opportunity to appear in MBC's upcoming fantasy drama, 'Cursed Locket'. Since being offered a role in the production, we have been in discussion with both the artist and MBC workers about the opportunity. Today, we can confirm that Mayse will be partaking in the production and is set to focus on her acting career until further notice. Other news surrounding the artist will be either confirmed or denied by Mayse herself through JW Entertainment. We hope fans of the artist are excited to see her in the upcoming drama. Thank you."
Mayse will be playing the role of Vanessa Kim, the former owner of the cursed locket and mentor of the afterlife for Song Ah Young and Ji Tae Won.
