a new day adorned on the nct members as they were split into groups and masked with eye masks. "everyone, you all have been separated into different time and space. for all 24 of you to meet again, each of you must succeed in your missions," superhuman said to no one in particular.
mayse sat in the van with taeyong, jaehyun, haechan, doyoung and shotaro. both taeyong and jaehyun yell out of the car window to ask where they were going. "we're being kidnapped!" she joined in the yelling, apologising as they closed the windows and waited to be stopped at their destination. a light chuckle leaves the female's rosy-tinted lips as doyoung tried deciphering where they were going off by the scent however failed. "why am i scared?" mayse asked as she followed the line that was being led by the staff, being seated as her hands began touching the people beside her to hear the voice of shotaro and jaehyun.
given the permission, they removed their masks to reveal a sushi belt with sushi's plates on it. as they watch the sushi go by, doyoung spots a tiny radio and points it out to the team as it began speaking. "members of nct: taeyong, doyoung, jaehyun, haechan, mayse and shotaro. the time and space you're in is a sushi restaurant," superhuman's voice said from the tiny radio. taeyong finding the radio cute caused jaehyun to pick it up to inspect when superhuman interjects fairly angrily. "don't touch!" immediately, the brunette male returned it to its plate as the others laughed. "i'll reveal the mission right now. each of you should clear 24 plates. which will be 144 plates in total. then you should take a picture to complete the mission."
"that's too much," taeyong complained with a pained laugh.
jaehyun turns to ask shotaro if he understood and began explaining slowly for the japanese male to understand as mayse's eyes glanced over at the sushi. sanitising her hands, she and the other members challenge the mission allowing her to grab the plates she wanted to eat. "shotaro, eat a lot~" the female smiled at her new friend who smiled back and nodded his head.
mayse happily continued eating without much thought, enjoying her time at the restaurant as she chose whatever she wanted, completing 15 plates quickly. "wah~ look at miyoungie," taeyong pointed to the female who was finishing her sixteenth plate.
"what the? how did you finish so many so quickly?" haechan asked the drinking female who smiled and did a small dance in her seat, waving at the camera that focused on her.
"i haven't eaten yet today and i've been craving sushi~" she explained gleefully, dancing in her seat as she ate, slowing down for her members to catch up to her speed. "also it's sm's money that's paying so i will be eating as much as i possibly can~" she hummed delightedly.
the members then noticed jaehyun hesitant behaviour to the sushi, being cautious of his weight. "ah shall i call support?" haechan asked the older male, pulling out his phone to call jinghua. the other members laughed, knowing who the vocalist would be dialling to help the situation regarding jaehyun's diet. "noona!" haechan called out when she had answered.
"oh? donghyuk-ah, what's up?" she asked the young adult who began explaining the situation to the female. "ah, diet? am i on speakerphone?" she asked haechan who responded with a hum, handing his phone over to jaehyun.
"uh jagi," jaehyun greeted casually, eyes gazing at the sushi passing by him, the members remaining silent and continuing their mission as he spoke to his fiancée.
"just eat for today," she told him, her voice soft although he could hear the subtle shuffling sound of her feet as she walked around, most likely, her new house. "work out when you come home and i'll make a healthy dinner for your diet," she explained as her fiancé hummed in agreement. "besides you need to finish 24 plates and i want sushi so eat it for me since i'm not there~"
"okay, understood," he laughed as she hummed, saying an 'i love you' before hanging up and the older male returned haechan's phone.
"wah~ today's the best day ever~" mayse sighed delightfully as she ate the black plate sushi, now at her 20th plate. "oh no, i'm almost done," she pouted as she eyes the sushi. mystery boxes came out which added an extra plate for haechan and allowed taeyong to steal three from who mayse thought would be herself but instead, the leader chose haechan. "i'm done," mayse pouted as she piled her plates, recounting to ensure she was done. special dishes who vented out for the tired members, first being haechan and the next being jaehyun who received a peach smoothie. the other members got their favourite dishes and mayse received her ice cream treat that she ate immediately. another three mystery boxes came out for jaehyun, mayse and shotaro, jaehyun's box allowed him to take three plates from someone and the others were to clear another plate to their piles. jaehyun took three plates from haechan for sake of fun, as mayse scoped for her last plate to eat. in the end, the team ended up completing their mission after so much struggle on haechan's part.
