anniversary

mayse had just returned from her office at her company, being busy the entire day with paperwork and planning for future company plans and interviewing new employees to work in the building. the young adult releases a heavy sigh as she enters her apartment, being welcomed by juniper who comes running and jumping at her legs. "aigoo~ hi baby~" she softly smiles at her pet, gently stroking his head before venturing further into the apartment towards the kitchen, planning on feeding juniper. "here you go baby," she smiles, setting the bowl of dog food onto the ground for juniper to eat at.

with an exhausted smile, mayse walks away from her dog, untying her hair from its ponytail and ruffling it messily before she heads into her bedroom to change from her work clothes. "hyunjinie is coming over later, i still need to decorate," mayse sighed, removing her makeup after changing into one of hyunjin's shirts and a pair of sweatpants. after doing her skincare, the idol walked out to the kitchen to bake a cake for hers and hyunjin's second year anniversary - juniper nipping at the girl's legs. "ah ah, juniper that hurts~" mayse whines softly, glancing down at her dog who was nipping at her legs.

juniper whimpers slightly before rushing to the front door that the two heard the code being pushed in. "uh hi juni~" hyunjin greets the shiba inu with a bright smile, petting his head affectionately as he closed the door with his free hand. "hi baby, did i come early?" he questioned, seeing mayse standing in the kitchen.

"yes actually, i was baking a cake," mayse huffs, crossing her arms childishly as she turns away from him to check on the cake. she hears hyunjin chuckle and his footsteps coming closer to her, feeling a pair of muscular arms wrapping around her waist and her boyfriend's chin resting on her shoulder.

"is there anything i can help with princess?" he whispered softly to the girl who sighed and pouts to the living room, informing the male to decorate the space for pictures that the two planned on taking to celebrate their anniversary. "alright, have fun with the cake," he chuckles, releasing his arms from the female and moving to the living room to begin decorating on mayse's behalf, being followed by juniper who sat by hyunjin's feet.

mayse hums softly as she finishes the cake and decorating the dessert, adding a candle and lighting it as she walked over to the decorated living room and setting the cake on the coffee table. hyunjin and mayse sat on the floor, smiling as they both held hands and closed their eyes - making a wish before blowing out the candles and taking pictures for mayse to upload on her instagram account for fans to see. "you can enjoy the cake now babe," mayse chuckles, watching as hyunjin stabbed a fork into the cake and took a bite of it. the remainder of the night, the couple spent it cuddling with juniper and watching movies on netflix.
