After 5 years since her solo debut, NCT Mayse will be releasing her first official Japanese single alongside versions of her most popular songs.
On the early morning of June 13th, SM Entertainment released an official statement, confirming Mayse's Japan debut.
SM Entertainment states: "Hello, this is SM Entertainment, After 11 years of being an official artist under our company, 6 as a member of NCT and 5 as a soloist, Mayse Son will be making her debut in Japan later this month. Mayse, alongside our producers and songwriters, has been hard at finishing her debut song and recording Japanese versions of her top songs that will be included on the mini-album. She will not be promoting her debut single when released due to conflicting schedules with NCT 127 and NCT DREAM. However, we hope Japanese fans of the artist will understand and continue to support her. Thank you."
Following the statement's release, a photo teaser and schedule were released on her official Instagram account, @mayseson_official.
