Singer Crown Ep.1 - Evaluation Test

Mayse nervously walked into the waiting room where the other contestants were. The maroon-hair dyed female wore a pair of jeans, a cream blouse that was tucked into her jeans and a pair of sneakers. She sighed as she bowed slightly with a polite smile and took a seat beside one of the contestants in the room. Lightly humming to herself as she tried calming herself.

Q. Why did you join Singer Crown?

The idol shuffled in the interview seat, fixing her posture as she spoke truthfully. "I've been a trainee since I was six so growing up I didn't have a childhood with friends my age until 00 liners became trainees," She informed, thinking about her trainee days. "It was difficult making friends because of past experiences and music was my escape from reality," she continued, nodding a few times at her own words. "When I debuted, I went through a rough time believing I was worthy of debuting with NCT. Even to this day, I still question if being in NCT was a mistake made by SM," Mayse said softly. "I want to prove to myself that I have the talent to be an idol."

"Mayse? You're next," a staff called the young adult who sighed and stood up, bowing to the staff as she left to prepare for her stage. Calming herself, she fiddles with the microphone in her hands, ensuring her in-ears were working properly before she was allowed onto the stage. Stepping onto the stage, Mayse smiles at the crowd before her as she stood in the middle of the stage.

"Mayse from NCT," one of the judges announces as Mayse whispers a soft yes into the microphone she held. "What will you be singing for us today?" he asked through the microphone he held, the idol smiling softly as she shuffled in her spot.

"I will be singing Lonely by Jonghyun-nim and Taeyeon-nim," Mayse said politely, the crowd awing at her soft voice as the judges proceeded with the show, gesturing for her to sing. With a deep breath, the girl listened as the music began, her nerves washing away as she began her evaluation performance.
