Finals. It seemed Mayse had made it to the finals of Singer Crown and she did not want to win solemnly based on her status as an idol from a big company such as SM Entertainment. She had said if she were to win the show, she would take the money earned from the show and donate it to a charity of her fans choice. The finals did not have a theme and therefore have the four final singers a free range of song choices. She loved a lot of the songs released throughout the decade however she wanted to interpret a few songs in her own way and one of these songs was BTS's song, Fake Love. During her preparation for the finals, she had NCT schedules which included photoshoots and filming for RESONANCE. Despite having such busy schedules, Mayse was able to gather some of her free dancers to help her with the performance - choreograph the song and organising it to suit her vocals. On the performance day, Mayse was anxious however felt relieved to not be going first this time around. Backstage she and her dancer had been goofing around to calm down her nerves which helped a lot thankfully. Once her name was called for the stage, she and her dancer made their way over, doing a small hype circle before disbursing so the idol could go onto the stage. Giving an introduction to the performance as always, the judges allow her to begin the performance.

"I do a lot of different concepts thanks to my group," Mayse began explaining with a gentle smile. "I feel like this song has been covered a lot but no one has done it in a way that would show off someone's vocals this much," she elaborated with a soft smile.

After all the finalists were finished with their performances, they were welcomed back onto the stage for the final results of the audience voting for the final. Mayse bowed to other contestants and held their hands as they stood in line before the judges, waiting for their results. No matter what rank she got, Mayse would be happy for the others and proud of herself for making this far and she now knew that she was fully capable to be one of the main vocalists of NCT.
"The first rank will now be announced!" one of the judges spoke, asking Mayse and a contestant by the name of Yoon Chaemin. The two girls made their way forward, holding each other's hands as they waited for the winner to be announced however was asked to share some words before the announcement was made. Chaemin went first and expressed how happy she was to make it into the finals and what she wanted to spend the money given to the winner on. Next was Mayse's speech.
"I personally don't think I won," Mayse began, softly speaking as she glanced around the room. "But if I did I am extremely thankful for those who voted for me and helped me become a better singer. Spending time with such talented singers have taught me many things and I cannot wait to see what the future has in store for them. Regardless, if I win the money, I will happily donate it to charity," she bowed.
"And the winner of Singer Crown is....!" the judge began dramatically as Mayse held Chaemin's hand, the two girls waiting for the announcement that was dragged on for a long time. "Yoon Chaemin!" Mayse released her grip from the bow crying female's hand and applauded her, giving her a hug and congratulations with a soft smile. Chaemin gave her winner's speech, thanking the contestants for helping her along the way and thanked Mayse for being a role model for her.
