NCT member and worldwide sensation, Mayse Son have paid her respects and support to the Black Lives Matter movement by donating over $10,000.
In a recent Instagram live, after being asked whether she had been supporting the movement, Mayse responded with sincerity about her doings to show her support to the movement.
During the live she said: "I've noticed that a lot of you guys [her fans] have been asking if I have signed any petitions, shared them and showed any support to the Black Lives Matter movement. I have. I have been signing and sharing petitions with friends and family, even putting links to petitions in my bio and on my social media for you all to go and sign. I donated to the movement and George Floyd's memorial."
She further went on to explain her reasoning for staying silent for so long and her involvement with the protests that are currently ongoing in various countries around the world.
"I was only silent about this because I was donating to George Floyd's memorial and constantly signing petitions. I even provided links for my fans to go help fund his memorial and sign various petitions currently going on for the Black Lives Matter movement. My sister recently travelled to LA she, along with my brother and his husband went and joined the protests. I'm back in Korea for promotions but my sister and the rest of my family are still out on the streets of LA and peacefully protesting."
