"ahhh," shotaro cries as he approaches the camera. "i'm so nervous. i'm so nervous. oh no," the japanese idol repeats in front of the camera with an uneasy smile.
xiaojun exits the waiting room and jisung approaches the camera, smiling. "long time no see," the maknae greets. "where should i go?" he immediately asked after, walking down the hallway. "the other guys left me..."
the nct 127 members then exit their waiting room, greeting the camera in their own ways.
"yo," mark greets, hands tucked into the pockets of his dress pants. "2021 mama."
taeil walks over to the younger male as they begin talking to the camera. "now, we're about to go on the red carpet."
"that's right. are you guys ready?" mark as yuta and mayse walked out of the waiting room, hearing the two's conversation. mayse silently waved her hand as she followed yuta down the hall, watching her step as she was wearing high heels.

"yangyang-ssi," shotaro began, giggling as he sat between yangyang and mayse who was on her phone.
"don't call me yangyang-ssi. you don't call me that normally?" yangyang complained to his friend who laughed and fell back against the couch.
"yangyang-ssi," shotaro continued with a bright smile.
"right now, shotaro is too nervous to talk," yangyang tells the camera as mayse perked up in confusion, glancing over at the two foreigners.
"why?" mayse asked as the two turned to her.
"today's the first time he's performing in front of the fans," yangyang tells the girl who let out an audible gasp, covering her mouth in realisation.
"that's right!" mayse gasped in shock. "you'll be fine," she casually tells the japanese boy before getting up and walking towards her makeup artist for touch ups, leaving the boys to talk about whatever.
from where she sat, the female could hear yangyang and xiaojun giving advice to shotaro about their in-ears with haechan later approaching the three of them.

mayse sat in the nct dream dressing room, snacking on some cookies her manager had brought with her whilst watching nct u's performance. "wah~ the choreography looks so difficult," she mumbled to her members who agreed.
later, mayse had to go with nct 127 to accept their trophy. "nctzens, thank you~ love you~" the female cutely says with a smile, waving finger hearts as she passed by the recording camera. after she had to get ready for nct dream's performance.

after getting ready for nct 127's performance, mayse walked outside to the hallway where the camera was located. giving a light smile and wave, the female stands with the staff - sparking up a conversation as she fixed her jewellery and in-ears.
"annyeong nctzens~ it's been a while," mayse asked, fixing her earring before checking it in the camera. "this year has been crazy right? i hope you all stayed safe during the holidays and have a great new year," she smiled. "let's meet soon, okay? promise," she held out her pinky for a promise before locking it with her other hand and blew a kiss before walking away when she was called.
