valentines' day

being a very busy person, mayse struggled to find time for not only herself but for others within her jam-pact schedules. due to valentine's day rolling around the corner, the idol found it in herself to clear her schedule for the day to spend time with her boyfriend, hyunjin at his home. prior to valentine's day, he had informed her that he would be returning how to spend the lunar new year with his family and invited her to come along for the week-long trip. agreeing, she packed for the trip and brought her shiba inu; juniper with them.

"ah this is nice," the ravenette sighed delightfully, her head resting in her boyfriend's lap as they sat in his backyard - both their dogs running around, playing. "i don't remember the last time i got to have a break from work," she hummed, eyes closed as she felt the cold breeze blow against her face.

hyunjin smiles down at the girl, leaning back slighting to stable himself on his arms as he glanced over his shoulder to the two playful dogs. "you deserve the break baby," he smiled. "i'm just glad you decided to take this trip instead of staying back and working," he laughed at her scrunched up displeased face.

"youngjae oppa can handle the paperwork himself," she waved a dismiss hand in the air. "he doesn't need my help," the girl turned to face his house where she spotted his mum exiting the door with a plate in her hands.

"food's ready!" she called sweetly causing mayse to sit up and smile. hyunjin already stood up and held his hands out to his girlfriend, aiding her to stand on her own feet as they walked over to his mother and thanked her for preparing them a fruit snack. "eat as much as you want miyoung-ah, later we're going for a family dinner," his mother played with the idol's hair as she spoke. "it's a valentine's day special event."

"ooo~ that sounds like fun~" mayse smiles up at hyunjin's mother, leaning down to pick up kkami and let him rest in her lap. "kkami likes me better than you how does it feel?" she smirked at hyunjin who placed a hand over his heart, feigning a hurt expression - a piece of apple in his mouth.

"arg how could you kkami? is hyung not loving enough?" he frowned at his family's dog who turned his head to look up at mayse who gently pet his head with a loving smile, juniper walking over to lay by her feet. "even juniper doesn't like me," hyunjin feigned his hurt look even more causing his girlfriend to laugh.

"just call me the dog whisper," she smiles.

later that night, mayse and hyunjin along with his parents went to a very nice restaurant where they had a pleasant family dinner, sharing a valentines dessert per couple.
