Jungkook kept his hand on his knife, in his belt, as he trailed behind his hyungs. They had been walking for about two hours down the empty road. Namjoon and Hoseok were leading the way since they had an idea of the area. Jungkook was originally up the front with them but he fell back more and more, the further they went.

The older members were chatting as they walked ahead. Jungkook, however, stayed silent, keeping his eyes on the trees. He was making sure the trees were clear from those hideous creatures. What he had not expected to see, though, was the rooftop of a small wooden building. He squinted his eyes, trying to make the shape clearer, taking a few steps forward. He walked a little way through the trees, his focus moving away from his surroundings.

The building he had spotted looked as though it could have been a barn or a shed of some sort. Jungkook was about to find out when he was pulled backwards by his jacket, harshly hitting the ground below him.

The older men hadn't noticed their youngest brother walk off as they were all pretty far ahead. It was only when they heard the desperate cries of their maknae when they noticed Jungkook was gone.

"Fuck!" The elders heard Jungkook scream, not taking a second's hesitation, before running in the direction of his yells.

Jimin sighed, listening to the birds singing in the trees around him. He was sat outside now, deciding that Taehyung needed the space to rest.

The sun was clashing with the cool breeze of the wind blowing, but it felt nice against the small boy's skin. He was humming along with the birds, mimicking their tune with his own soft, melodic voice.

It felt good to use his singing voice, Jimin thought. It had been so long since he sang that he was starting to think he had forgotten how. He used to sing with his brothers all the time, as part of their old career or just for fun, and he missed it.

Some rustling in the trees made his throat close up, the soft singing came to a stop. Jimin quickly shot his eyes up in front of him, his hand automatically reaching for his knife.

It upset him just how conditioned he had become by the new world. Jimin was never the violent type, he could never hurt anyone or anything, and yet here he sat with his fist clenched around a knife just because of a few leaves. He slowly rose to his feet, trying not to make a sound as he crept a little bit closer to the trees. He could hear faint growls of the undead growing nearer, making him internally groan. He hated those things, he hated killing them, but he did what he had to do.

Standing back a little bit, letting the monsters come to him, Jimin got his knife ready.

Though, what came next was something he had not anticipated.

The men ran up to Jungkook and they found him, wrestling with two dead ones on the ground.

"Get these ugly fuckers off me!" Jungkook exclaimed as he saw his hyungs running over, in the corner of his eye.

The two corpses were heavy and Jungkook was struggling to keep them at a far enough distance from his face.

"Hold on!" Hoseok shouted and he and Namjoon ran over. Seokjin, however, was already there with Yoongi.

With a swift swoop of his crowbar, Yoongi took one of the dead's heads off. Seokjin plunged his knife into the skull of the other one, stumbling back as he dragged the corpse off his youngest brother. Without saying a word, Yoongi held his hand out to the younger who took it thankfully.
