TRIGGER WARNING - VIOLENCE

Hoseok shook his head in his hands, leaning back against the wall as he sat on the cold floor. He couldn't cope. Seokjin and Yoongi had to take over, giving the two maknaes adequate fluids before the eldest helped Taehyung with a nebuliser and Yoongi carefully tended to his husband's injured wrists.

"I can't... I can't do it, I don't know how to help!" The man cried when he felt his sister's arm lay over his shoulders, as she took a seat next to him. "Woosung needs to come back, I don't know what I'm doing!"

"Woosung's not coming back, Hoseokah," Dawon sighed, laying her head on the man's shoulder. "Not yet. Not until I work something out with Taemin..."

"I should go down there," Hoseok told her sharply, looking up with slight anger in his glossy eyes. "I should go down there and tear his fucking throat out for doing this!"

"I know, Hoseokie," Dawon nodded, empathising completely. She wanted nothing more than a chance to take the man down, once and for all, but she knew no one was strong enough to defeat him. "But you can't. You're hardly well enough, yourself. The best you can do is be here and help Jimin and Taehyung. You need to be here for them."

"I don't know how to help them, Noona!" Hoseok shouted though the woman wasn't fazed by the anger. "I'm not a fucking doctor! I have no idea what I am doing, no matter how much I try to fool myself!"

"Hoseok, calm down," Dawon said, her voice firm but warm. When the man's tears finally escaped his eyes, she wrapped her arms around him and held him tight. "You are a smart man, you do know what you are doing. You may not have Woosung's training but you are incredibly clever and you care so much about these boys. We all believe in you and, no pressure here kid, but they are relying on you right now."

"What if I fuck everything up?" Hoseok sighed, holding his head in his hands again. "What if I fuck up and make it all worse?"

"First of all, cut it with the language," Dawon said, scolding him lightly and reminding him of who he was talking to. "And you won't mess it up. As I said, we all believe in you. I love you, Hoseokah."

"I love you too, noona," Hoseok nodded, wiping the tears from his cheeks, hugging his sister and giving a small nod before standing up. Jimin and Taehyung were depending on him, he needed to pull himself together for them. "Thank you."

"Come on then," Dawon smiled, patting the man's shoulder as he reentered the room behind them.

"How are things going?" He asked, relieved to see Jimin was finally awake and curled into his husband's side, hiding his face in the man's chest. Yoongi was just playing with his hair, trying to keep the atmosphere in the room as light as he could; gently moving his arm up, he placed his finger to his lips.

"Very shaken," Yoongi told the man, his voice almost a whisper as he kept his movements to a minimum. It was almost like he was avoiding spooking a timid animal to gain its trust. Hoseok just nodded, understanding, and stayed by the door while the elder moved his eyes over to his sister. "You're not welcome in here."

"Hyung-" Hoseok tried to reason with him, knowing where this was going but Yoongi just cut him off, his voice still soft but there was a lot of blame laced through it.

"You are the reason all of this happened," Yoongi told the woman who narrowed her eyes at him. She thought, after their time in the car, that they had found some sort of middle ground and were over this but apparently not. "I do not want you in here."
