Trigger warning: graphic description of seizures
An involuntary yelp fell from Jimin's lips as about ten dead ones walked out of the trees, straight at him. He felt his hands shake, knowing that there was too many for him to take by himself, but he lifted his knife and started taking them down, nonetheless.
By the time he had put his knife in the skull of the third monster, the others had gotten way too close to him. One pushed against the small boy, knocking him backwards. Jimin lost his hold on his knife and it fell to the floor. The boy pushed back with all his might, trying to get away from the dead that was snapping at him.
He could feel his feet slipping from underneath him, but before he completely lost his balance, a knife went through the back of the dead one's head.
Jimin cried out, not expecting it. The corpse fell on him, knocking him down onto the ground. With a low groan, Jimin rolled out from underneath the dead. When he looked up he was met with the scene of two girls slaughtering the dead ones around them.
"So, you need antibiotics?" Jisoo asked the group of men. Namjoon had introduced the two girls to the group and they were now discussing how they could help each other out.
"Yeah," Seokjin said, recalling what Hoseok had suggested earlier. "I have a feeling one of the members of our group, back on the road, is developing a chest infection of some sort, maybe bronchitis. He's asthmatic."
"Well, this is our medicine box," Rosé told the oldest man, handing him the metal box Hoseok had taken interest in earlier. "If you can find something in there that will help, take it."
"You can take some food as well if you need to," Jisoo told them, gesturing to the shelves around the barn.
"You're too kind." Hoseok smiled at her, his dimples showing. Yoongi just shook his head at him, scoffing at his obvious flattery. "Thank you so much."
Jisoo just shrugged and helped him and Yoongi chose some cans to take with them.
Yoongi shrugged his bag off his back and unzipped it as Hoseok and Jisoo pulled some cans off one of the shelves. He made sure that there was enough room for the cans but then stopped everything, feeling his stomach drop to the floor. He gulped hard before coming back to his senses.
"Shit!" Yoongi exclaimed, making Hoseok jump.
"What is it, hyung?" He asked, going over to see what the problem was. He saw as Yoongi pulled a small cardboard box out of his bag and then throw it back in, angrily zipping the bag up and throwing it over his shoulder.
"I need to get back to Jimin," Yoongi said, pushing past Hoseok and making his way for the exit of the barn. "He hasn't taken his medication today! I fucking forgot to remind him!"
"Where are you going, Yoongi?" Seokjin called out, only just seeing Yoongi run off with Hoseok following behind him, before stopping at the door and staring after him.
"I knew I shouldn't have left him!" Yoongi exclaimed, more to himself than anyone else, as he ran from the barn. How could he have forgotten? Why didn't he leave the medication there with him, more importantly?
"Yoong- Yoon..." Namjoon called after him but he was already halfway down the road. It was no use. "Oh, for Christ's sake!"
"What's going on?" Jisoo asked the leader in confusion, watching as the older man ran off. Namjoon sighed and, with an exasperated shake of his head, he explained the situation with Jimin to her.
"Are you okay, Mister?" One of the girls asked Jimin after killing the last monster, offering him her hand to help him up. She was fairly tall, about Jungkook's age, with long brown hair and a fringe covering her chocolate eyes. Jimin took her hand and used all his strength to lift himself. He felt his legs go wobbly underneath him. "Mister, are you alright?"
