TRIGGER WARNING: SUICIDE MENTION

It was now pitch black outside. The barn stood cold, damp and dim, with an atmosphere that you could cut with a knife. The only light source was from dim camping lanterns Rosé had set around the rooms before setting out a blanket to sleep on.

"Unnie!" Lisa cried out loud, squeezing Jisoo's hand to a breaking point. Her face was screwed up in agony and hot tears rolled down her cheeks. Jisoo held Lisa close to her as Namjoon examined her ankle as gently as he could.

"It is dislocated." Namjoon sighed, looking up to the girls. Jungkook had carried her into a small, secluded, room so she could have some privacy.

Everyone was told to give them space. They obliged but Jungkook stayed in the doorway, observing the scene in front of him with his arms folded across his chest. He didn't understand why but he couldn't bring himself to leave the girl, in the state she was in.

Lisa's skin was clammy, her breathing was quick and panicked. Jisoo felt her shudder every so often against her hold and worried.

"I think she's going into shock," Jisoo told Namjoon, fear in her voice as her sister cried into her shoulder.

"She's okay," Namjoon reassured the younger girl. "We need to put her ankle back in place, though, and strap it."

"Wh-what?" Lisa asked, looking up to Jisoo who shuddered. She held Lisa's hand comfortingly, trying to help her keep calm.

"It's going to be okay, dongsaeng," Jisoo told her with a reassuring smile. "Let Namjoonssi help you."

Lisa flashed her sister a look of fear before hesitantly nodding.

"Jungkook." Namjoon called. Even though the maknae was staying quiet, Namjoon knew he was stood behind him. "Come here, hold her hand."

"Why me?" Jungkook asked, startled from the question and from being noticed.

"Because she trusts you." Jisoo answered him, looking up. "She acts like she doesn't but she does."

Her eyes pleaded with Jungkook as he hesitated. He stared back at her for a moment, his face blank, before sighing and sitting next to Lisa. He needed to be honest with himself. He didn't want her to trust him. He couldn't get that close to her, he couldn't let her get that close to him. He just couldn't, but he wanted to.

"Kook?" Lisa asked, turning her head to look at him.

"I thought you intensely disliked me." She said with a small, feeble smile.

"Don't look too proud of yourself." Jungkook smirked at her, taking her dainty hand in his own, slipping his arm around her shoulder.

"Now, let my brother help you." He told her, receiving a small nod from her. Namjoon took this as a go ahead.

"I'm sorry, Lisa, this is going to hurt." Namjoon told her. She took in a shaky breath before nodding again. Jungkook tightened his hold around her hand, in a comforting way, bracing her for it as much as he could.

Yoongi and Hoseok heard Lisa's scream from the other room.

"I guess it was dislocated." Hoseok sighed, rubbing his hand through his hair. "Poor girl."

He was sat by Yoongi's side, keeping him company as he sat silently.

Jimin was sleeping on a couple of blankets Jennie had, kindly, provided before going to sit with Taehyung.

Yoongi wanted to stay by his side, not ever wanting to let go of his little, cold hand, but Hoseok had convinced him to give the boy some space, so they moved away just slightly, leaving the boy to recover. His breathing had returned to normal and there were no signs of anything that the others thought they should worry about, other than the fact that he hadn't woke up yet.
