"Jimin, you are doing fantastic!" Woosung praised, watching as Jimin leaned heavily into his boyfriend, mere steps away from the bed he had been resting in for the past four days. "Just a few more steps, kid, you can do it!"
Jimin held his hands on Yoongi's t-shirt, clutching onto the man in front of him for dear life, as he stood. Sweat was rolling off him in waves, his whole body shook with effort, as he slowly shuffled his feet forward for the first time since the crash. He had been stood for about ten minutes, only able to take a step every so often, and he was quickly running out of energy.
Despite being set up in a hospital, with no doctor or adequate equipment, they could only help Jimin as much as they could with what they had. This was making things a lot harder for the boy than they thought it would, but he was working hard and the progress he was making in such a short time was amazing.
Both Taehyung and Namjoon were sat on the bed, watching proudly as their brother used all his energy to walk. They gave comments of encouragement every so often, whenever Jimin started to feel like giving up.
"I'm so proud of you, jagi," Yoongi cooed, wiping Jimin's sweaty fringe away from his forehead. He stepped back, slowly, whenever his boyfriend moved, holding his hands under his shoulders to give him as much support as possible. "I can't believe how strong you are. You are doing so well!"
Jimin took in a deep, shaky, breath before forcing his feet a few inches forward, shaking his head shortly after and resting his forehead against Yoongi's shoulder.
"Chim, you're doing amazing," Taehyung threw a comment out, seeing just how exhausted his best friend was becoming. "Do you know that?"
Again, Jimin shook his head causing Yoongi to sigh and glance at Woosung. The man just held his hand up, watching the boy cautiously. He was sure Jimin would speak up if it got too much, he was doing so well, so he didn't want to discourage him just yet.
"Yoonie..." Jimin mumbled into Yoongi's shirt, squeezing his eyes shut tight, still shaking his head. Being a good few steps away from the bed, he decided it was okay to give up for the time being. "I-I'm done... It hurts."
"Okay, sweetie," Yoongi sighed again, holding the boy up as he gently guided him back to the bed. "Okay, you did brilliantly. I am so incredibly proud of you."
Namjoon and Taehyung moved aside, helping Jimin lay back down. Yoongi quickly laid down next to him, dabbing his forehead with his sleeve.
"You did so well, babe," Yoongi smiled as Jimin closed his eyes, taking in deep breaths. "I love you so much."
"We all do, Minie," Namjoon added, patting the boy's shoulder. "We are so proud."
"You really are the best, Chim!" Taehyung chimed in, a huge grin on his face as he sat down on the other side of Jimin, while Namjoon took a seat in one of the armchairs.
"Considering that was your first try, Jimin, I have to say you may be the strongest person I have ever met," Woosung said, a soft smile on his lips as he watched the men around him. "That was so much progress you just made! I can't believe it."
"You have no idea, Woosungnim!" Taehyung smirked at Woosung, holding his soulmate's hand comfortingly. "Jimin is amazing!"
"That he is," Woosung agreed with an enthusiastic nod.
Jimin buried his head into Yoongi's shoulder, his cheeks burning from, not only pushing himself so hard but from, embarrassment from his friends' compliments. Yoongi just chuckled, still wiping the sweat from his face so he could cool down.
