After the fight...

"Jiminie, love," Yoongi called, his voice weak as he struggled to keep up with his husband's fast pace, solely relying on Taehyung to help him stay upright. They had been trudging along for miles, choosing the trees for cover rather than the open road; the sun only getting closer as it sunk lower. Sooner or later, he knew they would reach the town, but Yoongi was more shocked about how the boy hadn't stopped for a single second since they reached the trees. "Slow down, my darling, I can't keep up. I need you to stay near me and Tae, please."

Jimin didn't acknowledge the elder, he just continued stumbling along in silence, mindlessly following Hoseok as he led the way with Nayeon sleeping in his arms. His mind and body were numb, all his thoughts blank but deafening as he stared ahead at the dirt path.

"Chingu, stop for a second," Taehyung spoke up, his more emphatic yet still gentle voice breaking through the older boy's daze. Jimin froze where he stood, though he never turned to see the two, he just continued to stare forwards. "Wait for us to catch up. Please, buddy."

The two finally managed to reach the boy, slowly catching up to stand beside him. Yoongi, though, tripped as Taehyung relaxed his hold on him. He only just managed to catch himself by grabbing onto the boy, causing him to stumble slightly.

Jimin didn't even bother to shift his eyes from the path, though his arms were quick to wrap around the elder, keeping him on his feet. As Yoongi calmed himself and caught his breath, he gazed at the boy; seeing the subtle tears falling from his eyes despite the emotionless, no lifeless, expression on his face before turning to Taehyung.

"We need to stop for a moment," He said to the younger with a serious tone. Taehyung nodded, agreeing as he watched his best friend with sad eyes, quickly jogging ahead to tell Hoseok. "Jiminie, we're gonna take a break, honey. You need a break... Can we sit down?"

Without a word, Jimin nodded just a fraction, keeping his arms around his husband as he eased him to the ground. Every movement he made was protective and overcautious, though Yoongi felt like it was more out of instinct. It didn't seem like the boy was thinking at all, let alone knowing what he was doing.

"Look at me, baby," Yoongi pleaded when they were seated, gently cupping the boy's cheek to wipe some of his tears away. "Please, yeobo. Just look at me."

Keeping his eyes closed for a moment, Jimin lifted his small hand and placed it over the elders, somewhat savouring his touch before going to meet his gaze. However, it wasn't Yoongi's eyes he saw first, rather it was his own blood-stained hand reminding him of what he had done.

"N-n-n-no..." The boy gasped, shaking his head harshly as his eyes widened significantly, staring at the mess of his own two hands. Yoongi noticed quickly as the boy started to break down at the sight, going to take the backpack that the boy had over his shoulders and pulling out a water bottle, which he knew was in there since he packed it.

"Come here, yeobo," Yoongi whispered to hide the shake in his voice, pulling the boy's hands towards him. Jimin's breathing just grew erratic as he couldn't take his eyes off of the evidence - the evidence of the crime he had committed, tears now blinding him as the elder poured the water over his tiny hands and wiped the blood off his skin. "Just close your eyes, I'll make it go away, baby. It'll all be gone soon."

With gentle touches of his long fingers, Yoongi used the water to wash away all of the blood that was continuing to traumatise his husband. Making sure every drop was gone, being as tender as he could, the stains slowly disappeared but only to his eyes. Jimin could still see it, still feel it, the whole scene flickering through his head as if it was all happening at that very moment.
