TRIGGER WARNING: MENTIONS OF DRUG USE

The TV screen showed the destruction of the city around them, showing just how dangerous this new illness was making the citizens. The country was crumbling to dust and humanity was becoming unhinged; it hadn't even been twenty-four hours since the first announcement.

The men ran around their dorm, frantically stuffing bags full of anything they thought they would need. Panic spread through the building, like wildfire, as the news continued to blare through the TV. They had no idea what they needed to grab, where they needed to go or what they needed to do; the men just ended up shoving random objects in their bags and started praying for the best.

Namjoon realised before the others that freaking out was not going to get them anywhere, they needed to think clearly. After trying to call their manager four times and still not getting through, it was time for him to take control, it was time to step up and look after his brothers.

"Hoseokah, Seokjin hyung," He called the two back into the living room as everyone ran around like headless chickens. "Go to the kitchen. One of you fills a bag full of food, anything that is packable, and whatever bottles of drink we have. The other clear the medicine cupboard and grab absolutely everything in there. I want the cupboards stripped bare."

The two nodded and ran into the kitchen though, Namjoon felt as though none of his words got through to them. He turned to see Jungkook running back and forth, actually packing things that seemed somewhat helpful. He had grabbed a few clothes and Yoongi's toolbox from under the stairs. He was being smart about whatever this was that was happening. In fact, as the leader looked back again, he saw Taehyung was doing something similar. As much as he didn't want to thank the all-nighters the boy's pulled at the risk of their work quality, playing apocalypse-survival games on their Xbox, he felt the need to.

"Hey, keep grabbing those tools and anything else you two deem necessary," The leader told the maknaes, approving their fast thinking. He looked around and found he was missing two members... He was counting five. Now was not the time to split up, they needed to work together, where were they? "Yoongi hyung? Jiminah?"

"Come on, upstairs, let's go," Yoongi said, holding Jimin's hand firmly and dragging him upstairs. The boy didn't respond, he just sobbed loudly and choked for breath as fear suffocated him. "It's okay, just go."

The elder just pushed him into the cool bathroom, sitting him on the closed toilet before shutting the door behind them, blocking out the noise. He knew Jimin was on the verge of blacking out and the others panicking was not helping in the slightest. He knelt in front of the boy, holding his hands tight in his own to ground him.

"Jimin, focus on me, now," Yoongi tried, tapping the boy's cheek to try and get him focused on anything other than the chaos around them. "Come on, just focus on me."

It wasn't working though. Jimin's breathing was hectic and all the elder could hear was Namjoon shouting at everyone. It was going to be impossible to calm the younger down until he could get him to focus solely on him.

Dropping the boy's hand for a split second, Yoongi turned the tap on full, letting the water run to drown out some of the noise from downstairs. As he looked back, he saw Jimin looking at his feet and swaying as he sat, shaking with violent sobs.

It took every ounce of strength he had not to pull the boy close to him, holding him tight until he felt safe. But when he started to panic, even more, Yoongi almost let himself.

"Hyung, I can't..." Jimin cried, shaking his head as the mental chaos took over. Yoongi just gripped his hands tighter to remind him of his presence. "I don't get what's..."
