He Was Not Expecting This

Chris and Felix stood by the entrance of the pharmacy, waiting for Jungkook and Taehyung to return while Namjoon filled the truck with gas, so they could leave quickly when his maknaes were finished messing around.

"Do you think you're getting anywhere?" Felix asked Chris as he leaned against the door, letting the sun warm him up through the glass. Their accents were thick as honey and just as sweet, as they spoke to each other in their first language.

"Whatcha mean?" Chris asked, cocking an eyebrow at the young teen, although he already knew what he was getting at.

"With Taehyungie?" Felix chuckled when the elder tried to play dumb. He knew all about his brother's little crush; to be honest, it was glaringly obvious, how he always tried to but into the elder's conversations, spend every moment with him and always wanted to catch up on any gossip he could. "You two seem to be getting closer."

"Oh, well..." Chris shrugged, not really knowing his answer. He'd like to think he was getting somewhere but Taehyung seemed to be blind to all the hints he was dropping. "I'm starting to think he doesn't swing my way, mate.

"You reckon? Jungkook seems to think he does," Felix noted. He had also seen how jealous the boy got when Chris got close to Taehyung, though no one had said anything. He just assumed it was something that had been going on for quite a while, since before they had all met.

"I will admit he's making things difficult," Chris sighed, a soft chuckle leaving his lips. "But it seems like the universe will just have to do its thing. I don't have a say in this one, as long as the guy's happy.

"Don't be a wuss, using the universe as an excuse," Felix shook his head with a laugh. "Why not just ask the bloke out?"

"'Cus unlike you," Chris tutted, shaking his head at the boy for being cheeky. "I have some respect in me, kiddo."

Both of the boy's continued to chat, laughing slightly about the small number of topics they went through, oblivious to the fact that Namjoon was standing behind them, listening to every word with a soft smile.

"Chan," He interrupted after a while, deciding they had been hanging around for too long when he caught the crisp look of the orange-purple sky. "I'm gonna go and see what they're up to, can you..."

"Jungkook!" Taehyung's voice rang out, followed by a loud clatter of items scattering over the floor followed by a set of shelves tumbling down. The noise was deafening, making the three near the entrance jump out of their skin. "What the fuck?"

"What's the hell's going on?" Namjoon shouted back to them but then realised that was, quite possibly, the worst decision he had ever made. He got no response from his maknaes, only soft growls sounded around the building, inside and outside alike.

Hyungsik looked at the younger man for a second, taking in the fact that he seemed perfectly calm. Glancing up to Jackson for some sort of advice, the man just shrugged, so he shook the younger's hand... Or at least he tried to.

Just as the elder removed his hand from his pocket to shake his, Hoseok took the chance, his aura turning menacing in a split second. The action was as fast as lighting, just a mere flash, leaving Hyungsik wondering what the hell was happening. The younger stepped forward so quickly that even Jackson, one of Dawon's most fearless men, flinched away. The look in Hoseok's dark eyes, as he pressed his arm against the elder's neck, was murderous.
