"So here's the plan," Nico said to all of us as we sat around the table.
"Wait," Louis interrupted. "Why can't I go undercover too?"
"We went over this a thousand times," Melanie shouted. "You're 17 years old!"
"I'm a fucking immortal!" he yelled back.
"Can I finish?" Nico calmly asked.

"Louis, you're not going and that's the end of discussion," Melanie shut down.
Louis sat there and pouted as Nico continued to talk. "But I-"
"Avery, Tim, and Briggs," Nico yelled, interrupting Louis's pout.
"Yes," they all shouted in unison.
"You guys will join Elite one at a time, way before Amilia does. So that way, by the time she comes, you all will know the ropes so you can catch her if she falls."
"You will all be working at this new nightclub they own called A&D's," Speedo joined in.
"A&D's?" I mumbled to myself.
"A&D's..."
"Yes, it's another new club that Elite opened, ran by Gotham," Nico continued.
"They're looking for bartenders and performers for the clubs opening night. They usually choose two show girls and two show boys each night to come and work for them at Elite. It's supposed to be more of a high end club for the rich."
I suddenly began giggling. "Performers?"
"Showgirls?" Melanie added.
"Yes, that's where you and Amilia come in," Nico responded.
"But aren't you guys worried about my powers? I mean we still don't even know what kind of powers I have. All we know is that I have zero control over it."
"As terrible as this sounds," Pete chimed in. "We're gonna have to give both of you small doses of GAD while you're down there to keep you from using your powers."
"What?" I yelled.
"This is only temporary," Pete continued as he tried to calm me down. "We're working on something more long term with the elder Guardian when it comes to training you to control your powers overtime."
"Okay and what about me?" Melanie added.
"What about you?" Pete snapped with an attitude, making everyone in the room look at him weirdly.
"I can control myself and my powers... Why do I have to be doped up on GAD?"
"Yeah," I continued. "She's a vampire, she needs her strength to feed."
