"What?" Keith replied. "You might need to go back to sleep and wake back up again because you're tripping." I stood there still with the covers wrapped around me, confused.
"We're leaving this place... we're going back outside the protection barrier. You know, into China?"
"I thought they were gonna bring somebody here?" I questioned.
"No!" Keith yelled. "They can't afford to bring an outsider in, exposing where we are."
"So instead, they bring me to the outsider. Exposing who I am?" I mumbled.
"Don't worry Beyoncé! None of your fans will recognize you out here in China," he laughed. "Now you've got 10 minutes tops," he said as he walked out and shut the door.
I quickly got dressed and ready for something that was gonna be the most miserable time of my life. I began looking in the mirror of the bathroom at my face. It looked as if I aged three extra years and I hated it. I brushed it off and quickly grabbed my stupid dance bag and headed out the door with Keith following behind me.

When we walked outside there were three strange men in all black waiting outside the barrier by an all black truck.
"So where exactly are we going?" I asked him.
"Well first off," he said. "We're heading to some dance studio in some place that I can't pronounce."
"And who are these guys?"
"Those guys are men that Nico trusted and hired to protect both me and you while we're out. They're gonna be riding in another car behind us."
"Why are they just standing there creepily behind the barrier?"
"No one can get in or out of this barrier without the Guardians saying so. That's why they're just standing there," he answered.
"And how do you know that?" I asked as I stared him down. Keith was always snooping around and being nosey. I knew for a fact that he figured that one out on his own.
"Because I pay attention," he snapped at me with an attitude as he snatched my bag out of my hand and started carrying it. "Now stop asking so many questions."
We got to the front of the barrier and one of the guardians magically appeared in front of us. I mean literally, he appeared in thin air. "Where are you traveling?" he asked.
Keith cleared his throat, then he started acting like a complete idiot towards the guardian. "We've come from a far away land called the hotel's dusty cellar and we wish to leave this forgotten kingdom so we-"
I looked at the Guardians face and he didn't find anything Keith was doing funny at all. So I nudged Keith hard in the side with my elbow to make him stop and he laughed it off and began speaking normally again.
"We need to leave so we can get Amilia to her dance thing."
"Dance... thing?" The Guardian replied.
"I have a dance rehearsal that I need to go to," I replied.
"Hush child," the Guardian snapped at me. "I'm talking to the young man with the big mouth."
"Do you have to cause confrontation everywhere you go?" I mumbled to Keith.
"Hey, that thing with Robert was not my fault," he mumbled back.
The Guardian cleared his throat loudly with impatience. Keith sighed as he pulled out a flyer from his back pocket and flipped it over to read what was written on the back of it. "We need to leave so that we can get Amilia to her dance rehearsal in Shanghai China."
