The fire started growing rapidly as the moon changed from full to crescent. The crystal blue white light was beaming down from up above. Battling the red , yellow, and orange flames from down below ... But still I laid there on Pete's cold chest wishing that he was still alive. So that I could tell him once again, how thankful I am for him coming into my life wanting to protect me from day one. The fire began burning hotter and hotter right under our noses while the flames danced as I cried out to god for help. I cried and begged for god not to take him from me, I begged for one more chance at love. I loved Pete since I first laid eyes on him. I felt the love since the intense moment in the investigation room. At the time I didn't know what that feeling was since I never felt it before... but now I guess the saying is true. " You never know what you've got until it's gone."
Visions began flashing through my head of the short time me and Pete spent together. His beautiful face began flowing through my mind. I even began fantasizing about me and Pete spending time in the future together but these fantasies felt so real and familiar... like memories. It was like they happened already and I just never remembered until now.
