Vince & Malakai

"Why must you be so hasty with everyone you come across?" Vince asked Malakai.

Malakai said nothing, he just sat there rubbing his eyebrows in frustration.

"If you're going to let every single suspicious mysterious person that you ever meet in this world get to you as Prince, then I can't wait to see what you do when you become King," Vince laughed. "There will be so many suspicious people around you that you won't know what to do with yourself. Hell, they might even try to kill you a few times."

"I don't want to become King," Malakai replied carelessly. "I'm just doing it because you need me to.. And plus I just refuse to let Elite fall into the hands of one of your reckless brothers."

"Agreed my friend, agreed."

"Will you be participating tonight? In the yearly bidding?"

"Don't I always?" Malakai said sarcastically as he rolled his eyes.

"Why don't you want to find love?" Vince randomly asked him. "You've had a whole sea full of women at your knees and yet you refuse to put your toes in the water."

"This isn't love," Malakai replied as he roughly pointed at the women performing in front of them. "I've had love. I've had real love before, and this, this isn't it."

"So the evil and twisted Prince of Elite has had his heart warmed before after all?" Vince teased.

"No," Malakai replied emotionlessly.

"I've only had love once in my very, very, long and annoying lifetime and it got ripped away from me like a starving child from his family. So now, now I don't feel love, I will never feel love again. I feel nothing but the ice cold darkness..."

Vince began fixing his suit as he cleared his throat loudly, trying to ease out the tension. "Okay! Well... Just don't leave too early," he smiled as he patted Malakai on his back and returned to his table.

"What was that about?" Jax whispered to Vince.

"Oh nothing, he just has pre bidding jitters..." Vince responded jokingly.

"Mmm," Jax mumbled as he gave Malakai the death stare. Malakai spotted Jax staring at him vengefully from his table, so he decided to stare back. The sound of the woman hosting the bidding show interrupted their stare off, along with the waiters constantly walking through their view of each other, handing out champagne.

"Alright fellas, our next performers come in a pack of two. You can't buy one without the other... give it up for the Bella Twins!"

Keith's POV

I didn't understand any of this, I also didn't understand why they weren't explaining to me why Tim, Briggs, and Avery were sneaking into the girls dressing room. I began skimming the whole room, starting with the suspicious men at my table. They were all basically dressed the same, from the mask to the suit. I looked at the guy to the left of me, he had a gun on his waist and so did the other five at the table. Some were better hidden than others, it didn't really look like they were attempting to hide it at all. They felt comfortable having them on their hips, like it was nothing.

I didn't want to make any sudden movements, I knew they were purposely sitting next to me. The idiot with the tattoos that I almost had to beat down earlier probably sent these guys over here to me. These fools were absolutely crazy if they thought they could pick a fight with me. Before I was even turned into a werewolf I was killing people left and right with my eyes closed with no problem, and now? I was unstoppable.
