"Be quiet" he mouthed to me.
"What is it Malakai?" One of the men asked.
"I thought I saw something out on the deck" he said as he picked Chelsea's lifeless body up and laid her slowly onto the couch.
"I'll go check it ou-"
"No, I got it" Malakai interrupted.
He approached the window slowly and then he opened it completely. He stuck his head out onto the patio and looked down by the plant... directly into my eyes. I sat there in shock as I looked at him and he looked at me. My eyes began to water in fear as to what they were going to do to me once they caught me and figured out who I was but my eyes also watered in grief.
"Malakai what is it?" Vince asked.
"It's nothing, just some birds" he said calmly as he closed the window and walked away.
I looked up at Nico who's eyes were glowing a light blue color, he was using his powers to somehow hide us from Malakai.
"How did you do that?" I whispered.
"I'll tell you when we get out of here," he responded.
"Ditch the car and get in the van" he said as he grabbed me by my arm and escorted me from the balcony.

When we got back to D.O.S I had no clue how I got inside of my bed. Only thing I could remember was all of the crazy things that happened on our stakeout. My soul felt dark, weak, I couldn't really begin to wrap my mind around what all really happened but the pain I felt for the grief of Chelsea was something that my mind couldn't unwrap. I went to sleep and woke up the next morning to a call for an emergency meeting.

"She said what?" Sebastian shouted.
"She said that she was looking for someone named Sebastian that worked for the D.O.S that could fix her" Nico confirmed.
