Pete's POV
As I opened my eyes, the smoke cleared and exposed the fire surrounding us. I heard nothing but the screams and the sounds of fire alarms going off. I saw nothing but panicking people and a bunch of S.W.A.T members in armor from head to toe, running around the building with guns.
The sounds and the sights of running heels passing by my face would forever haunt me at night. Even the sight and sounds of Jewelry dropping and breaking at my feet was already haunting me. Pearls rolling around on the ground reminded me of the sound of the bomb before it rolled around and killed everyone. The bomb that I threw, the bomb that I used to kill everyone...
But nothing would haunt me more than the sights of thousands of dead bloody bodies surrounding me in the lobby. Women crying, men screaming. Both the Dead and the living were discombobulated. It was a walking nightmare.
I began removing the debris from off of the top of me. There was so much fire everywhere, I could barely recognize where we were. I started helping out as many people as I could. Moving huge boulders that were blocking doorways. It seemed like the more people I helped, the more dead bodies I discovered. I began analyzing all of the bodies. They all looked scorched around the facial area but nowhere else, which was strange. It was almost as if someone took a vacuum tube and sucked half of the life from their face.
"Pete!" Blue yelled out across from me.
"Help!"
He was squashed under a pile of rubble. I came running to help him. I removed rock after rock, concrete off of concrete, and brick after brick.
"Have you seen Keith or Amilia?" I asked him. "I haven't seen anyone," he replied.
"What about Speedo?"
Blue then got quiet as I pulled him up. "What?" I asked him.
"Speedo was the closest to the explosion," he said. "He tried to save everyone by kicking the bomb away but.. it reversed on him. Not only did it explode instantly but it flew straight into the showroom..."
The simple fact that I didn't see Speedo anywhere let me know he was dead, but I didn't want to tell Blue that, even though he probably already knew. "It's fine," I quickly said, trying to cheer him up. "We'll find him..."
When I pulled Blue up, I noticed he was somewhat not as heavy as I thought he would be. Nor was he moving as fast as he should have been, even though he was hurt. I looked over at him and realized that his whole right arm was missing.
"Oh my god," I uttered as I sat him down. He looked down at his arm weakly, his whole face was pale.
"A-Aww man..." he stuttered as his eyes started watering.
I quickly took off my jacket and then took off my tie and my shirt. "It's gonna be alright Blue," I told him. I took my shirt and wrapped it quickly but carefully around his wound and tied my tie tightly around it to stop the blood flow.
I began looking around the room frantically. "We need to get you some help!"
Sebastian's men started storming every nook and cranny looking for all of our dead bodies. It was only a matter of time before they spotted me and Blue over here in the corner.
"No," he said. "You need to go find the others so that they can help you get Amilia back..."
"I'm not gonna just leave you here and let you bleed out!" I yelled as I tried to wrap his other arm around me and carry him out. He moaned and groaned every time I moved him so I put him back down.
