"Clever," he chuckled.
Meanwhile downstairs, Lukas and I ran off laughing, hiding from Pete. We stumbled across a huge library that awaited down one of the hallways and decided to enter it.
"Woah!" Lukas shouted as his voice echoed through the library.
We tiptoed slowly inside as we looked around. The library itself had at least 3 stories. There were books upon books, staircases upon staircases, and chandeliers on top of chandeliers.
"This place just gets better and better," Lukas whispered.
"And bigger and bigger," I whispered back.
"This isn't just a regular hotel you know," the elder Guardian said as she walked over with Alva and another Guardian.
"What is it?" I asked.
From the corner of my eye I could see Lukas bowing down to the elder Guardian, so I awkwardly did the same.
Alva began giggling as the elder Guardian spoke to us. "You don't have to bow down to me, I'm not a queen."
We got off of our knees in embarrassment as we listened to her every word. Alva glanced at me and smiled as I did the same.
"This hotel was built upon a magical land. A land that has belonged to my family for centuries. It's one of the many special lands that we must protect at all costs."
"But why?" Asked Lukas.
"Because it's sacred," Alva replied. "It's a part of what we do as Guardians. It is what we do as Guardians, we protect."
"Our job is to protect our sacred lands and those who seek help when they come across it," the elder Guardian added.
"This hotel was built upon one of our sacred lands long ago before it was a hotel," she said as she approached a sign hanging up on the wall.
"What was it?" I asked.
She used her hands to wipe off the dust on the sign hanging against the wall.
The Hallow School of Magic
"This was a school?" Lukas questioned.
"A school for magic..." I mumbled to myself.
"I knew this place was too big to just be a regular hotel!" Lukas shouted.
"Wait until I tell my sisters," he yelled before he zipped out of the room.
"This hotel is huge but it isn't big enough to be a school... is it?" I asked the Guardian.
"I've been to schools that were strictly outside. Schools that only five people attended at a time. schools aren't meant to be big," Alva answered.
"The school actually used to be bigger," Nico explained as he suddenly walked in.
"You taught here?" I asked him.
"Taught?" He questioned.
" I went here. As a student."
Nico then moved over towards one of the bookcases and began running his fingers past all of the books slowly before pulling out an old black one.
After pulling the book out, something strange happened. A familiar tune started echoing through the library, more of a melody.
"What's happening?" Blue yelled as he ran into the library.
"She's alright Blue," Nico replied. "It's not her doing this, it's the library."
The bookcases began transforming. They stretched, twisted, turned, and flipped as they scooted back. Making more room in the library.
