"I'm sorry, I never got your name?" He shouted while chasing behind me as I ignored him.
As he caught up to me he then grabbed my arm to get me to stop walking away.
"The least you can do is tell me your name," he said while breathing heavily. "Or let me carry you to your car."
"You know for someone who has the so called flat foot curse you sure took a while to catch up to me this time." I mocked.
"I'm sorry your highness, do I not meet your standards?" he mocked back while trying to catch his breath.
"And do you want to know something else?" I asked while ignoring his recent remark.
"For someone who was just getting on me about apologizing no longer than 10 minutes ago, you sure are apologizing a lot...and to answer your question sir, NO!"
"No?" He interrupted.
"No," I repeated.
"You do not meet my standards and I find you kind of creepy."
He smiled as he looked at me in a confused manner. "For one, I appreciate the respect but do not ever call me sir again in your life."
"And for two, I'm the cutest guy on this beach...as a matter of fact, NO! I am the sexiest and most handsome man on this beach and you find ME creepy?" He said.
As he continued to stare at me I couldn't help but notice how he really was the cutest, sexiest man on this beach even though I couldn't see him clearly...but I just couldn't let him know how overtaken I was by his sexiness. This whole situation was just weird and the conversation was never ending. The more I looked at him the more I was still was unable to clearly see his face, just little details on it. It was as if I had just taken some funky pills and they were starting to backfire by making my vision all fuzzy.
"Yes, I said It."
"I find the most sexiest man on this beach creepy," I yelled.
And shit, I said it. I just let this man know that I found him not cute...not attractive... but sexy.
"Aaah hah" He teased.
"You've just admitted that you find me sexy... but before you called me sexy you called me creepy and I cannot be both, so pick one darling. Which is it?"
The more he kept talking the more strange I felt. My hearing started to go dim along with my eyesight and I felt like I was gonna pass out.
"I don't have time for this, I have to go." I said, shoving my way past him.
"Okay, how about this?" He said as he jumped in front of me.
"Ugh ! What is it?" I said while rolling my eyes.
"You tell me your complete honest truth about what you really think of me and I'll let you go on about your day." He nagged.
"That's what you've wanted this whole entire time? Some type of creepy closure from a stranger? No thanks dude."
"Ha" he laughed.
"Close, but not quite..." He said slowly in a serious manner as he tried getting closer to me.
"Okay how about this," I said.
"Tell me what you think about me. The honest truth on why you're really here, following me and not letting me leave."
He then looked at me in a way that he hasn't looked at all in the 20 minutes we've been speaking. It was like he was a brand new person. It was a way that a man has never looked at me ever before. It was almost as if he knew me once in a lifetime but I never knew him. It was almost like the moment when you've just gotten your hair done and you're waiting for someone to compliment you... and if they don't compliment you, you're at least waiting for them to notice. You're waiting for them to give you that second glance. It was like I was his missing piece to his missing puzzle. I was his second glance, I was in a complete trance.
"You want my complete honest truth?" He asked while turning towards me.
"I just want to know if the most beautiful woman on this beach ... Well, the most beautiful woman I've ever laid eyes on. The most prettiest girl in the world, would even think about giving a hopeless guy like me another chance... that's all." He said softly.
As he spoke to me I had a strange feeling in my heart. It was a familiar feeling like he said these words to me before. It was more than just Deja vu. It was more like a repetition. And at that moment I knew that he meant what he was saying.
I reached out to remove his shades from his eyes and his face was finally becoming clear. I could only see from the top bridge of his nose up to his eyes and eyebrows. Before I could finish removing his shades I could see his eyes clearly. His pitch black eyes then turned dark brown which then turned green with streaks of what looked like blue. A tear then dropped from his face as it softened with something that almost seemed like forgiveness.
*Ring* *Ring*
"Shit, shit, shit! My boss is calling," I said as I scrambled for my phone.
"Hello? Amilia, I have been sending you several emails for the new script and you have failed to reply for HOURS NOW! An angry voice yelled through the phone.
"I know Mr.Vanilli, I've just been a little occupied." I said while turning around trying to hide my cell phone conversation away from the man I've been a little occupied with.
"You've been occupied? YOU'VE BEEN OCCUPIED! Listen here you little shit, If you don't have those new scripts completed in blue prints by Monday that's your ass! Do you hear me Amilia? That's your ass!" Mr.Vanilli yelled.
"Yes sir I hear you I do but I-" *bleep*
"Of course his self righteous ass hung up on me." I mumbled to myself.
"Hey wait..." I said slowly before turning around to continue my conversation.
"What do you mean by again?" I asked the mysterious man.
When I turned around to look at him he was gone. It was like he was never even there in the first place.
