When we pulled up to a random waffle house in the middle of nowhere, we sat in the parking lot for a while in silence.

"So..."

"Soooo... are we just going to keep sitting here or are you going to get me some food." I responded.

Pete then adjusted his rearview mirror to look at himself. "Well for one we look terrible and I kind of don't want to go in here and make a scene."

I then jumped out of the car and slammed the door behind me.

"No offense but I'd rather go and talk to you out in public where other people can see. You know with you being a stalker and all!" I yelled through the window so that everyone could hear.

"She's kidding!" Pete yelled to the people on the sidewalk who were giving him dirty looks.

"She's just kidding."

When our food reached our table I started stuffing my face. I felt like I haven't eaten in years.

"So, I promised you that I would tell you anything that you wanted to know."

"What do you want to know?"

I took several big gulps out of my water before I started speaking.

"Just give me a second." I said with food falling from my mouth.

"Take your time." He said as he handed me a napkin.

"Why are you not eating? I know you've got to be just as hungry as me."

Pete then cleared his throat. "Well, I'm not the one who's been being fed Vitamins and Minerals through a tube for the past like four or five days."

"So did I really tear down a hospital and create some sort of a tornado?"

"Yeah you.. Uh , you did."

"How...?" I whispered.

"Well that's what I don't know, I'm not really sure yet."

"What do you mean yet?" I asked.

Pete then leaned in closer to me. "Well that's the thing, When I first met you when you were a suspect in the Mill Vanilli case I had no clue about anything about you. I thought you were just a regular person that got mistakenly put into the case by false accusation."

"But I was mistakenly put into the case." I whispered back.

"No you weren't... Somebody purposely set you up so that you could be in the case."

I then stopped eating and set my knife and fork down.

"What do you mean?"

"Listen, I wasn't sure it was you until we were in the interrogation room and you heard the voice monitor through the glass."

"Huh? You weren't sure what was me? And are you talking about that robotic "Truthful" Voice?.....Couldn't you hear it too?"

"Yeah but I could hear it only through my earpiece. It's specifically made that way so that whoever is being interrogated cannot hear it and you heard it."

Pete then looked me deeply into my eyes and at that very moment something inside of me was telling me that he was telling the truth.

"Just like Blaze.. So you're not lying." I added.

"Yeah, I'm telling you the truth now. No more lying, no more keeping secrets."

"So does that mean ..."
