Malakai then made his way to the edge of the balcony to watch me as well. Both him and Vince slowly began to have this same slight sly smirk on their face. They were enjoying the show just as much as everyone else, maybe even more. Malakai's smirk was different though, it was almost as if he had malicious intent. My watch began to beep quietly and it sent a sudden panic down my spine. I ended my routine quickly with my same finishing move that I've been using lately. It seemed to catch everyone's attention every single time.

Everyone stood up, giving me a standing ovation. They were shouting all sorts of things at me and whispering to each other.

"She was amazing!"

"The best performer yet!"

"That girl has got some mad skills."

All of the men in the room began looking at Vince as if they all were thinking the same thought. They all knew something that I didn't know, but I was gonna soon find out.

Malakai suddenly walked away after he shook hands with Vince just before the performance was over. Vince stayed all the way until the end, clapping slowly as he made his way downstairs.

"That... was... incredible!" he shouted. "Mya my dear," he replied to the woman who was judging my audition.

"Yes," she questioned.

"I think our friend Angel here has earned her spot, don't you think?"

"Agreed!" she replied.

"Where did you learn how to dance like that?" he asked as he approached me.

I was sweaty and tired, but I kept a smile on my face as I left the stage and moved quickly towards my bag and my emergency pen that was no longer on the seat where I left it. My watch kept on beeping and it was forcing me to panic on the inside. "I learned from this little dance studio I'm currently attending called sexy stilettos," I replied.

"Sexy stilettos huh?" Vince smiled. "Okay listen, I have a proposition to offer you..."

"What kind of proposition?"

"We have a new nightclub that we're opening up here in New York called A&D's night club."

"A&D'S?" I questioned. He then began laughing to himself as he explained the name. "I'm sorry, A&D's stands for Angels and Demons. I didn't mean to confuse you."

"Oh no," I said. "There's a flower shop around here that has the same name and it just reminded me of it, that's all," I replied.

"You know of A&D's the flower shop?" he said as he began getting excited. "Do you live around here in this area?"

"No..." I interrupted. "Not anymore..."

"Ah okay, well... We need a few girls to steal the show tomorrow night and bring in as much attraction as we can, and I would be more than ecstatic if you would join us and be one of our showgirls," he said as he pulled out a flyer card with the details about the club opening on it and handed it to me.

"Oh, well I already auditioned here for another show for you guys and I-"

"Forget about that show," he interrupted. He then pulled a check book out of his suit pocket and began signing it. "Name the price."

"Price?" I said in shock. "I can't take any money-" I then began grabbing my things and heading out towards the door.

"$10,000" he said carelessly. "For one night."

"I'll double it, if you agree to become a permanent show girl." My watch then began beeping again but this time it was louder.

"I-I'm not sure," I replied. "I really have to go..."
