"How long?"

"It looks like a year at most."

Delaney jolted awake, gasping for air as she clutched her chest. It was a dream. The same dream she had been having all year. She hadn't had it in a long time, more specifically since Ron was poisoned some months ago.

She looked around the room to find Hermione still sound asleep in her bed. The sun had just begun setting through their window. Delaney felt almost a sense of relief knowing she had only taken a short nap after her exams. She only hoped that she'd be able to push past the vivid dream for the rest of the night.

Only as she stood she found that the dream, or vision really, began replaying in her head. She needed to talk to Dumbledore. Luckily, she got word that the Headmaster had returned to school the previous night. Why the Headmaster would leave his post at the school was unknown to everyone.

Nonetheless, after showering and putting on a fresh set of clothes, Delaney began making her way through the common room. While walking through the common room, Delaney saw Harry and Ginny sitting on the couch together, their fingers playing with each other as they talked.

They had been together ever since that night during the Gryffindor Quidditch Cup celebration. They seemed happy together. Surprisingly, Ron didn't seem to give them that much trouble. Other than the occasional, 'don't snog when I'm around'.

"Hey Delaney, where are you off to?" Ginny asked.

"I need to talk to Dumbledore about something. If Hermione asks where I am, just tell her I'm there," Delaney answered, walking out of the common room as Harry and Ginny nodded.

With this, Delaney made her way to Dumbledore's office, saying the password as she approached the gargoyle. Before she could even manage to knock on the door, she heard Dumbledore speak.

"Come in, Miss McKinnon."

"Sorry to bother you, sir, but I need to talk to you about something," Delaney slowly began walking towards the open seat at his desk.

"You've been having more visions," he gazed at her, his blue eyes pierced hers through his half-moon spectacles.

Delaney's brows furrowed as she began to wonder how he knew so much. But, by now she also knew not to even try to question some of the things he says. "Yes sir, but this one doesn't come to me like a normal vision. It only comes to me in a dream, and it's always the same conversation."

"Correct me if I'm wrong, but were you not the one who managed to get everyone out of the Burrow just in enough time before the attack?"

"Yes sir, I had a vision only seconds before it happened," Delaney nodded, though she was wondering how that pertained to why she sat before him now.

"I see. Miss McKinnon, divination is a strange yet fascinating talent. Only those who truly possess said talent can decipher some of their true meanings. The only thing I believe I can tell you about this difference in the way it's presenting itself is that perhaps it's more of the truth behind a lie, rather than something that will happen should you not take action to change it as you did at the Burrow."

"But sir, what do you mean by the truth behind a lie?" Delaney's brows knitted together as she stared at Dumbledore in confusion.

"I believe you already know what this means," he grinned, looking over to Fawkes. "The Phoenix, a marvelous bird. One of the world's greatest treasures. They show perseverance even in the darkest of times. Tell me, Miss McKinnon, what inspires you most of all?"

"Well, I'd have to say, Remus. He always put on a brave face and strived to be the best father I could have asked for, despite his condition. He inspires me to not let what others say or do affect me. He's shown me that love will always persevere."
