"Delaney, wake up!" She felt someone shaking her shoulder. She immediately began to recognize the voice after they repeated their sentence about four times.

"Fred? What are you doing here?" she asked, groggily rubbing her eyes.

"We figured it out! George and I, we figured out our plan!" He said in an excited whisper.

"Fred, it's three in the morning! You couldn't wait until morning to wake me up?" Delaney snapped her head back to face him after looking at the clock.

"Come on, please? I can tell you all about it in the common room and you can go right back to sleep after that," Fred pleaded, staring at her amidst the darkness.

"Oh fine, but you better let me sleep with you tonight. I can never sleep well anymore if I'm by myself," Delaney grumbled. That was something she never really wanted to admit, before Fred she was always known for being independent and hated the idea of settling down young, but with her being half-asleep it just slipped out.

"Deal," he chuckled. "Now come on," he grabbed her hand and pulled her down to the common room.

The fire was now mere embers in the wee hours of the morning but was sent back to life as Fred cast a charm that made it grow large again. Delaney quickly sat down on the plush couch that faced the fire. She lifted her legs for Fred to sit down before letting them rest on his thighs.

"So, this plan?" Delaney asked, looking at him as a spark of excitement moved across his honey eyes.

"Oh yes, well I told George about your idea with the fireworks a few days after Valentine's day and he loved it. We started planning after that and I think we've finally figured it out," he smiled.

"Oh look who's listening to me now," Delaney grinned.

"Yeah, yeah," he chuckled. "Anyway, we first tried to think of the perfect strategy but nothing seemed to fit. But then...I had the brilliant idea to do it on the day you all take your O.W.L.s. After that everything seemed to fall into place. We're going to start with a single little spark that will distract Umbridge and then we're going to fly into the Great Hall and just go wild with the fireworks. We want the big finale to have a dragon that chases after her so we'll have the time to escape."

"A dragon?!" Delaney giggled. "That sounds bloody brilliant!"

"I'm glad you think so," he chuckled.

"I want to help," she looked at him.

Fred seemed to grow a bit uneasy at the thought, but finally, he looked back to her, "We'll talk about it in the morning. Now come on, let's go to bed."

"Ahh music to my ears," she smiled before standing up.

The two quietly walked back to Fred's dorm where George was already fast asleep. They crawled into the bed at each other's sides. Though Fred was slowly grazing her hair, which he knew helped her sleep, Delaney couldn't seem to fall back asleep. She was ecstatic that the boys were finally able to figure out a plan that would be just the start of their dream careers. But she realized that only gave her one more month with Fred. One more month of randomly sleeping in his room with him like tonight. One more month of seeing him whenever she wanted. She eventually drifted off to sleep to the sound of Fred's gentle snores next to her.

Delaney awoke the next morning to feel Fred's arms still wrapped firmly around hers. She turned her head to find him still sound asleep. The way the sun hit him made him look as though he were a god. Delaney slowly turned her body around to face him, her hips lightly brushing his as she did.

She lay comfortably in his arms, her head and arms against his toned chest, falling in and out of sleep for the next hour. She finally woke up for the day when she felt Fred gently kiss the top of her head and his hand ever so slightly grazing her back repeatedly.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to wake you," Fred apologized, looking down at her as she looked up at him.

"No it's alright, I've been going in and out of sleep for about an hour," Delaney couldn't help but grin.

"What is it?" A small grin of his own escaped his lips.

"Nothing, I'm just really happy," she smiled.

"God, I don't know who I made a deal with up there to get you but I will forever be grateful," he grinned before kissing her forehead.

"Someone's being quite the charmer today," she giggled.

"I try," he smiled as he shrugged, leaning his head down to kiss Delaney. Just like it had been so long ago, electricity bounced through their lips as they kissed. Delaney's hand began to wander up to the back of his head. Her hands grazed through his hair as his began to survey her body. Eventually one of his hands pulled her thigh over his body, making her straddle his hips.

As she brought her lips down to his neck she felt his hands grab her waist. This only encouraged her more. She kissed just under his ear before lightly nipping at his earlobe which earned her a heaty, 'God,' from Fred.

Delaney moved her lips back to his, where he allowed his tongue to begin dancing his hers. She began to feel one of his hands slide up her back to her bra. Without even breaking their kiss Fred was able to undo her bra with one hand as the other still firmly grasping her waist. His hands started to play with the hem of her shirt but she wanted to be the first to do that. So, she moved his hands back down to her hips before she began to play with the hem of his shirt. Their lips broke for only a second as Delaney pulled Fred's shirt from his body. Now, her hands could explore his chest as they kissed. His hands pulled the hem of her shirt again, slowly starting to lift it.

"Hey, Fred do you- Oh bloody hell!" Ron shouted, covering his eyes at the door.

Fred and Delaney quickly separated their lips. Delaney pulled her shirt back down, it was just about to pass her unhooked bra when Ron walked in.

"What do you need Ron?" Fred asked in a heaty tone, his breathing heavy as Delaney still sat straddled over him.

"Nothing, never mind. I'll just go ask George down in the common room again," Ron muttered, quickly turning around and walking away.

"I think that was our cue to go join everyone downstairs," Delaney giggled, quickly un-straddling Fred and re-hooking her bra.

"Why is it always him that walks in on us? He must think we shag all the time," Fred laughed to himself, pulling his shirt back over his toned chest.

"Well in his defense it was heading in that direction," she laughed. "Maybe we should go talk to him."

"Yeah, I think you may be right. At least before he goes down there and tells everyone he walked in on us shagging," Fred grinned, giving Delaney a quick peck and guiding her down to the common room.
