The time after Dumbledore's funeral was a time of uncertainty for everyone. Fred was sure to not leave Delaney's side through all of it. She loved that they were able to be with each other. Though, she did wish it didn't include the fear of dying.

Over the summer, things changed a bit. Hermione and Ron joined the Order. Delaney did as well, though Fred and Lupin were hesitant at first. Fred was more resistant for Delaney to join the Order out of worry that she would be harmed, though he didn't make any mention of him joining until it was already done.

Nonetheless, they were back to doing better than ever within a few days of her joining. They had been bouncing between staying at Lupin's cottage and the Burrow. Fred and George left their flat after closing up the shop because they felt it was getting a bit too risky to stay in Diagon Alley with the current climate. Delaney and Fred liked staying at the Burrow, but when they wanted a more private setting they stayed at Lupin's cottage.

Delaney awoke one Saturday morning with the sun warming her cheeks. She rolled on her side, her face turned into Fred's chest. She watched as his chest slowly rose and fell with his slumbered breathing. The sun hit his freckled body, shadowing his athletic body in the perfect light. She couldn't believe that even after all this time, she was still breath taken by him.

"Enjoying the view darling?" Fred's raspy morning voice sounded.

"I always enjoy my view," she giggled as her hand slowly traced down his bare, freckled chest.

"And I always enjoy mine," he grinned mischievously.

"What are you-" she began, yet was cut off when Fred's hand pulled her leg over him. She now sat straddling his hips.

"I'm enjoying my view from a different angle, darling," he grinned cheekily. His hands found her cheek and the small of her back as she playfully rolled her eyes at him.

"I swear, you only have one thing on your mind," she grinned, slowly leaning closer to him.

"Don't act like you don't have the same thing on your's, love," he grinned, moving his hand to the back of her neck as their lips connected.

Their lips moved together in synchronized movements. It felt as though their lips were puzzle pieces falling into their perfect place. Fred's hand left the small of her back, traveling down her ass, gently squeezing as her hips rolled into his. Delaney's tongue ran across his bottom lip before her teeth pulled at it, earning her a low moan from him.

"We can't right now," Delaney whispered breathlessly as her forehead rested against his.

"Why not? Remus won't hear us with a silencing charm," he grinned as his honey eyes gazed into hers. He slowly connected their lips again. Truth be told they hadn't been able to be together in that way in a long time.

Delaney gave in for a moment before pulling back. Fred let out a huff of disapproval. "We need to start getting ready for the wedding."

"I don't think they'll miss us that much. Besides, we can be quick," he winked, tightening his grip on her hips.

"Fred, I'm the maid of honor and you're one of the groomsmen," she sat back up, her hips sunk onto his hard-on, not making it any easier to convince him, or herself for that matter. "Fred, I have to get ready, and so do you."

"Ugh, you're not going to let us do anything are you?" he propped himself up on his elbows.

"Nope," she grinned, un-straddling his hips and walking to the bathroom.

Delaney stayed in the bathroom for a bit of time. She had just finished showering and started putting her makeup on when Fred walked in. His eyes quickly began to follow her body that was only covered by her small towel.
