"Ugh, I can't believe we all have to go to detention with that evil woman," Delaney huffed, getting up from Fred's bed. They had taken a nap after classes together.

"At least she didn't cancel the Hogsmeade visit tomorrow. It would really suck if we had to be stuck in the castle with Umbridge on Valentine's Day," Fred offered a sympathetic grin, walking over to Delaney.

"Speaking of Hogsmeade, you never told me what we're doing," she looked up at him with an inquisitive brow.

"It's a surprise," he grinned, pulling her in by her waist.

"Let me guess...Zonko's then The Three Broomsticks and maybe Honeydukes at the end," she chuckled as she wound her arms around his neck.

"Essentially, but there's a bit more to it," he grinned into their kiss. "Mm, we need to hurry down to the Great Hall if we still hope to be able to go tomorrow."

"Ugh, fine," Delaney let her head fall back in dread. "Let's go."

The couple made their way down to the Great Hall, being sure to let go of each other's hands when they saw Umbridge from the opposite end of the corridor. They usually wouldn't comply with that rule but they didn't want to jeopardize their visit to Hogsmeade together.

Once making it into the Great Hall, Delaney sat down two seats away from George so Fred could sit between them. As she sat down she noticed the quills on each desk didn't look like regular quills. She knew this meant they would be given the same detention Harry had been given all year. She had luckily only been given detention from Umbridge twice, both times were because she was within eight inches of Fred.

"Good evening children," Umbridge began. "You all know why you're here so I won't bother making this a long discussion. Today you're all going to be writing 'I must not disobey the Ministry' with the quills I have placed in front of you. I expect it won't take long for the message to sink in but you must continue to write until I tell you that you may leave. You may begin," she giggled her malicious laugh.

Just as Delaney remembered it, the words began scratching onto her hand almost immediately. It didn't bother her that much at first but after about an hour of repetitive cutting in the same spot, her hand burned with pain. Her anger levels rose with each word she wrote. As she looked at her hand which was bright red from the writing etched into it she felt her anger begin to boil over. Her eyes then fell to the bracelet that sat just south of the words. As she looked at the charm with the 'F' engraved on it she began to feel her anger ease a bit. She turned to look at Fred for a moment, her anger seemed to fade much faster as she looked at him.

"You may go now," Umbridge announced after another half an hour.

"It's about bloody time," Delaney whispered to herself as she stood up and walked to Fred. His anger could be seen easily in his eyes. It was always easy to read Fred's emotions, he wore them like a crown most of the time. Now was no exception, the anger in his eyes was burning like hellfire just as it had that day on the Quidditch pitch.

"I swear that woman is the vilest person I've ever met," Fred snarled.

"Hey, why don't we make a quick pit stop before we go back to the common room." Delaney grabbed hold of his hand to stop him from walking any further. A light bulb had gone off in her head as he spoke.

"What are you talking about? Delaney, what are you doing?" Fred asked. Delaney had started pulling him towards the doors of the castle.

"Just shut up and follow me," she chuckled. She led him all the way to the broom cupboard at the Quidditch Pitch.

"What are we doing here? My broom was confiscated by Umbridge."

"Yeah...but mine wasn't," she grinned, pulling her broom from the cupboard.
