After Lupin and Tonks' wedding, Delaney and Fred decided to start staying at the Burrow more to give the newlyweds their space. Really, to allow them to have some sort of honeymoon since they were unable to go away to have one.

This, however, made it even harder for the two to find any alone time together. Well, the amount of alone time they needed to do what they wanted to. Though they were usually very good at going without each other's touch for long amounts of time, being so close to each other without being able to have that connection with the other was proving to wear on them.

Today, however, would only make the house more crowded, for the Order would be taking special precautions to bring Harry to the Burrow from Privet Drive.

"Delaney, you can't come," Fred ordered, following her into his room when she tried slamming the door in his face.

"Fred, I'm going!" she snapped, quickly turning to face him. "Moody already worked me into the plan. I'm going whether you like it or not."

"Why can't you see that this is too dangerous for you?" Fred's voice raised. They had been arguing about whether Delaney would be going with the Order to get Harry. Fred was very resistant to the idea of her going.

"Fred, I'm not a child! I willingly joined the Order. And need I remind you that I have visions that can help me if need be," she turned back around to quickly change.

"Oh yeah, just hold onto those like a brace why don't you," he scoffed.

"Stop it! Fred, we knew I would be sent on a task at some point. Remus has already accepted it so why can't you?" she yelled.

"Because-" he shouted before pausing as his eyes moved to hers. "Because I can't lose you."

Delaney let out a deep breath. She knew how he was feeling because she felt the same towards him.

"Hey, look at me," she cupped his cheeks with her hands. "I know you're scared that you'll lose me, and I'm scared I'll lose you. But, don't you see? That's all the more reason to fight. If we don't fight we'll not only lose each other but everyone else that we hold close to us."

Fred seemed to calm a bit. Delaney could tell he was still wary of her joining everyone on the task, but he had to accept it because it was happening.

"Besides, I'd rather go down trying than taking the easy way out. And I know you would too," she kindly smiled before kissing his nose.

"Just promise me you'll be careful," he looked to her dearly.

"I promise," she squeezed his hand tightly three times before he pulled her into a long hug. Delaney could feel the tensions they had just had between each other begin to subside as they held each other in their arms. As long as they had the other, they would be victorious, even in the darkest of times.

"Delaney, Fred, it's time," a knock sounded from the other side of the door before Hermione slowly opened it.

"We'll be right down," Delaney nodded. Hermione gave a silent nod before retreating down the stairs. Delaney turned her head back to find Fred looking down at her, his hands rested on her hips.

"We're going to be fine," she grabbed hold of his cheeks, staring into his eyes. Fred gave a silent nod before placing a soft kiss on her forehead. "Now, we better get down there before they send Moody up after us," she giggled, causing Fred to let out a little chuckle.

With this, the couple made their way down the stairs of the Burrow, hand in hand, to the living room where everyone stood. Inside stood Lupin and Tonks, she appeared to be glowing, Bill and Fleur, who seemed to be bouncing with the anticipation of their wedding in a few short days, George, Ron, and Hermione, who had been off in conversation on their own, Mr. Weasely, Kingsley, Moody, and finally, Mundungus. If anything were to go wrong, it would most likely be because of Mundungus.
